Red, forget the handcuffs and chains.

Just take plenty of bleach.

And secretly film and record the experience on your phone.   It may be useful when you need evidence in court.

Have you seen the film 'Wolf Creek', Red?

moonie has a bleach bath every day, red. he and michael jackson were/are experts in the use of bleach.

maybe he thinks it might be an appropriate dinner gift instead of choccys or grog

I think Mrs Bitters would identify with Rocky Road chocolates as they would describe her marriage to BBO.

Thought I'd be brave and venture into this thread for the first time since it was created 7 years ago, to find out what the hell goes on in here.......fair to say after a 10 minute read I've still got no idea.

I'll show myself out the door folks, carry on!!

you have just passed the sanity test.

those that remain lost the plot along time ago.

they kid themselves that they are clever and have a view of life that is ...superior.

that there is meaning in their meandering imaginations.

its a weird kind of pseudo intellectualism when its not pseudo or intellectual.

I wish you'd stop peeking through the stained glass, dc. The saliva drool on the window sill is causing rot damage

well if you'd put in ordinary glass instead of that pretentious 1970's stained antique glass i wouldn't have to drool

btw, is bleach any good for fungal infections?

Or maybe that’s the name of the book about the thread.

Pulp Creek has a certain ring to it ...

Well lads the fixture is out tomorrow so that should provoke some serious discussion, or not.

Rumour that Queen’s Birthday and Anzac Day games will be away games for us. That is not good for our finances.

She watches "Passion of The Christ " quite regularly and thinks JC is a bit soft.

Silly of you to ask Red ( and please ignore the childish humour above) I am the perfect host and all necessary accoutrements for a pleasant evening are provided .

However, a bottle, or two,  of shiraz would be considered a friendly gesture.

And …. given that you are filthy rich lawyer, who spends far too much time swanning about on cruises,  I would consider a Grange appropriate recompense for my entertainments.

Ernie, would you stop your tiresome carping about this thread.

You are starting to sound like a schoolgirl that's been interfered with.

Consider it done. I know a bloke who does home made wine and I will get you a bottle of his famous “ home on the grange”.???

Now Uncle, is it ever likely or in the realms of possibility that you are able to post without a smutty comment or innuendo. Is your private life completely bereft of beauty and sweetness.

You do realise Geoffrey that your acting days have passed you by and everyone has tired of the same lines. Your early work was entertaining and amusing but it has become tedious and frankly embarrassingly. Perhaps it’s age or fatigue with living but you seem so half hearted these days. You don’t know whether to hang up your boots or keep trying to run around the park.

You do sound depressed these days, listless and just hanging on. Or are you now only aching in the places where you used to play?

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
