I never like wishing defeat on another team, in this case, on-going misery. Maybe wish a little but not too hard.  Perhaps Essendon  but not others. Bad Karma.

Let's hope the GCS don' do much better than their NEAFL side this week. They played Brisbane (with 11 listed AFL players including 2mPeter and Kane Kolij) and could only manage 4 behinds. Bris kicked 96 pts 

5-3 and back to the G to play the super confident Blues, hopefully without their main tagger and umpire toucher Ed Curnow.

The worry is that we will be hot favourites.

The GODS have still not forgiven us for 1965.

Big game this week. We have tended to play poorly against them for a few years even though they have been down the ladder.

We need to play at our best all game and drive them into our turf.

With our recent wins, I was just emerging from my MFC induced depression to some semblance of balanced mood state. 

I was even planning to go on Sunday, with a feeling of quite optimism tempered by the ever present trepidation.
