Magnificent BB.

I have partaken in a few cleansing ales myself at Hemingways. Anonymously of course.

A very pleasant spot late in the day or early evening.

I feel thirsty.

Is a bit earlier than you suggest....but I'm coping ;)

The good life BB.

An apt time to say "well it sure beats working"

Just avoid the crocs and other deadly creatures such as the elderly (in particular avoid the bus tour group), low class tourists in floral shirts especially the Poms, and the locals. You know the ones who are morbidly obese with no necks, faces full of skin cancers who speak in a completely incomprehensible lingua franca.

Oddly enough Ernest there were some of those "English Tourists"

Not that i particularly care much for the game these days but i enquired as to their interest in cricket. That seemed to to the job.

Crocs are indeed a serious thing up here and i take good care not to smile at them. ;)

Must be time for my morning juice

Bub, if you are attempting to make us jealous by posting pics of your luxurious, cold drinks whilst we swelter in windy 35 degree heat, I can tell you emphatically and on behalf of everyone on TSBS that it's working. B@stard!

Mango or banana smoothly BB?

Indeed Daisy, we are a multi cultural place where bananas are not always regarded as the King of the Fruits.

We must not forget all religions particularly those of SE Asia. As you know I have a deep interest in spiritual matters like many on this site particularly this thread. Over recent times, I have been drawn to Buddhism and the spiritual texts of The Vedas which predate all other religious texts by 500 years.  The more commonly accepted religious texts are mere new and revised editions of The Vedas.

So we must not forget the Durian. Worshiped by many as the King of Fruits.

Perhaps we can encourage BB to try a Durian smoothy.

think you will find the pyramid texts pre-date the vedas by 1000-1500 years ernest

but yes, if you only include current religions

I heard Mr Bitters has upset the gods again.

40 days and nights of rain will be his punishment.

The upside is free water for everyone. But living under Lake Romsay may be a problem.

Mr Bitters you need to follow the rules and live by the norms of deceit society.

Toady, in the event of Romsey floods, Demonland's very own royalty King Bitters will probably cluster his servants together for him to stand on top of their heads. Should one or two be swept away, they are easily replaced by his missus and/or mistresses. Last resort, he'll call upon his neighbour Jake Lever for assistance. Simples.

The only Gods likely to care about Uncle are pagan gods.

Given the the Uncles proclivities and indulgences, it's unlikely to be Bacchus.

However, given the current weather conditions it could be Thor who is definitely not happy.

With the crumbling ruin known as The Manor, no doubt the good Uncle is busy making sure he has enough buckets underneath all the leaks.

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
