So are we talking about the progeny being BBO's head and torso joined to an alpaca's arse? Or is it the head and forelegs of the alpaca joined to BBO's arse?

Both are beyond my imagination!

Most of Bitter's comments are rather unique, Shadow. However, when Bitter has had a few to many Shiraz's to forget the lacklustre on-field product on game day, he starts talking about the lads' lineage. That is when he looses me. Apparently it all traces back to an albino alpaca named Sven.

Careful how you modify the word 'loose' Maple. Over here it might mean something different from what you are used to.

i think better categorised as failed animal husbandry experiments, bj.

so who knows what bbo's intended outcomes were. he probably doesn't either

just for bbo - a teacher story

--------------------------------------------

A teacher was reading the story of the Three Little Pigs to her class.

She came to the part of the story where first pig was trying to
Gather the building materials for his home.

She read. 'And so the pig went up to the man with the wheelbarrow full

Of straw and said: 'Pardon me sir, but may I have some of that straw to
Build my house?'

The teacher paused then asked the class: 'And
what do you think the man

Said?'

One little boy raised his hand and said very matter-of-factly...
'I think the man would have said - 'Well, [censored] me!! A talking pig!'

The teacher had to leave the room.

Bah!! Not much of a story. An enlightened educator like myself would have given the little rotter a jolly good thrashing.

If you're out there RL, try convincing the ship's captain to change course and steer towards Dominica. You might just catch the end of the First Test with the Aussies headed for victory. If all of the passengers and crew head for the ground at Roseau, the attendance should be quadrupled.

Enjoying a Gramps Shiraz after an early bike ride around Box hill, Collingwood, Ashburton today followed by good win for the Scorps this arvo. Seems like Gramps is a wine made / named for Old Dee!

Bj how many kilometres on this bike ride? BoxHill to Collingwood is enough but then out to Ashburton? Is this on bike trails? I did the Merri Creek bike trail to Coburg Lake then back down the Upfield line and home this morning myself. Stopped in at the East Timor Coffee House in Brunswick for breakfast on the way. Great coffee and food and undid all the exercise of course.

Earl, look at it this way...the bike ride resulted in a 'free' breakfast.

Well yes calorie neutral perhaps Maple. It still cost me $40 for two but some of the proceeds go to Timor Leste. This place has a great story, some Australian peace keepers who went to East Timor to secure the peace after the Indonesian withdrawal in the early 2000's were travelling up in the highlands and stumbled across locals in a valley full of centuries old coffee plantations being paid zilch or their crops. The Aussies decided to purchase a few hundred kilos of beans for a fair market price and sent them back home to start the East Timor Coffee House. Since then they have paid fair prices and put money back into the local community. Highly recommend a visit and the coffee is as good as it gets, better than anything in Fitzroy by the way.

I do like my coffee, Earl. I'll have to check the place out the next time I'm n the area.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
