Tom Scully

I like this bit:

Scully burned through his settlement because he is loose cannon. He spent his money like a drunken sailor. Big summer home, big boat, expensive cars and a lot of loose women (is loose women the people you are referring to as helping people out).

thanks for telling me what my views are?

I have #31 on my jumper (which i bought after his press conference). I argue till im red in the face with my mates when they tell me his is gone. I think he hasnt made a decision yet which is why i dont think he has gone, but yes it is possible that he may choose to walk; He may choose to stay, or he may choose to go. I am able to consider life/MFC without Tom Scully!

Quick word of warning here, DemonWA - despite that you appear to love the Dees and you appear to be posting your views in good faith, your view appears slightly contrary to the poster-boy view of the world espoused by the open-minded thinker that is "hardtrack". I expect that, if you persist in expressing such contrarian views, he will call for you to be banned from this website ... for life (refer to previous posts by "hardtrack" on this thread). It matters not that GWS may have expressed similar views to a national television audience or that every major newspaper has also reported such things. Apparently it is all clearly humbug and to simply proffer a similar view here is the height of blasphemy.

The one fact I take from this thread is that no one really has any idea what Scully will ultimately do at the end of this season ... except "hardtrack", that is.

As an aside, I hope Scully re-signs with the Demons at season's end. However, I think the GWS threat is real and I suspect we will have plenty more sleepless nights before we know whether we've secured his signature or not.

I think if you're going to character assassinate a poster, it's probably best to get his name right first.

4 posts to go Artie. Believe me ... it feels good to join the "1000 Club".

I'm really not fussed at all either way.

I could be on 25,000 posts or I could be on 10 posts.

It doesn't make my point of view any more or less relevant.

Vintage!

I want to know the posters who have read this entire thread....... and the Scully one before this.

Come on, put your hands up posters.

Sadly I can probably say yes to that.....

I think it was good last page that people saw that Trengove and Scully have said the exact same thing in the media except one is consider 'a demon for life' and the other is consider 'money hungry traitor'

RR to use the latest article to say things are different and cooling is struggling.... Tom was very aware that Jon Ralph had given him a fair whack in an article two weeks ago and really didn;t want to do the interview so tried to avoid saying anything new but as you can see the media can write it up anyway they like especially since you pay attention to the headlines which are written not by the author of the articles... Tom was requested to do a press conference again by MFC media manager. He informed them he didn;t want to do it because he would of said 'I want to be a one club player and I'll wait at the end of the year to look at my options' which is exactly what he has already said and doesn;t think he needs to attention a press conference every time a new rumour surfaces.

Not to mention his facts... if RB can point out one single post on here where I have called for the poster to be banned from this site, I will eat my virtual hat!

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

2024 Player Reviews: #5 Christian Petracca

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury. LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres

Sadly, had to wrap up a great career in midstream on the back of multiple concussions which culminated in the Maynard hit in the 2023 Qualifying Final. His loss to the club was inestimable over and above his on field talent given his character and leadership qualities, all of which have been sorely missed.
