Beamer on The Footy Show tonight

Brent Moloney will be on The Footy Show panel tonight for the first time. Been a while since I've seen a Dee on the panel.

Should be good to see him besides all the other crap that goes around on there.

Wow, great news. I can't remember the last time I've seen a Dee on the panel. I might actually watch the whole episode tonight.

And Bailey is guest On the Couch next week.

Last time I watched TFS I could barely understand a word that was being said.

Do they provide subtitles?

I know it's been said before but surely TFS is on it's last legs? It's beyond stale now. Kind of like that white dog poo on the front lawn that eventually crumbles and diappears.

It's mindless, brain numbing entertainment..........but I still like it.

Garry dancing in a Yo Gabba Gabba outfit last week was comedy........which I'm aware says a lot about my intelligence and maturity, but I still found it funny.

There are two or three other shows on a Thursday night that are superior in quality including the Marngrook Footy Show but TFS still outrates them easily. I suppose that's a reflection on the audience more than the quality of programming but I suspect TFS still has a reasonable shelf life.

I occasionally watch it myself but only later via Foxtel IQ when I can fast forward and watch what interests me. It's usually a 10-15 minute view.

the comedy bit was garry burning it and then fossil producing another.

btw - NRL footy show > AFL footy show. i know bugger all about rugby league but if i can be bothered staying up that late it is far far superior - mainly because they dont care about taking the [censored] out of themselves and eachother.

fossil has to go - watching him is painful.

You don't watch TFS as a serious football program with analysis, discussion, etc. Good for a laugh though.

hahaha

From what I read in the news there could be trouble brewing if he's going to be a mentor for a certain 17 year old. Danger signs all over the place on that one.

Fossil's new nickname will be 'The Riddler' ... question marks all over him.

Shame it's on the same show as the Nixon/Duthie rubbish. Won't be watching for that reason alone.

Enjoy an hour of 'amusing' gags about him taking a slash on the bar.

Surely not...!? what the..

He has enough trouble trying to contain Crawf, let alone....(dot dot dot)

I think the last time was probably Col Sylvia?!

Benno, the RL Footy Show is nothing compared to what it was 5 years ago. The AFL one has won the last how many logies? The NRL one lost me when they got rid of The Chief, Matty Johns and Sterlo. Those days were some of the funniest TV moments I have ever seen.

The only footy shows (of any code) I watch now are ones on Fox, and the Channel 7 one of a Sunday morning.

I'm sure I've seen Brad Green on that panel.

Comsidering his lack of personality and his deer-in-headlights on-camera persona, I doubt we'll ever see him again...

true that! havent watched it much in the last few years - although i still say its better than the AFL version

One-in-a-row.

Green is fine on TFS. Davey is the one who is bad (To be fair he has improved though).

Can we just hand the Vice Captaincy back to Beamer now please? The guy is the heart and soul of the footy club. Numberous footy analysis shows this week highlighted his ferocious attack on the footy at the first bounce on Friday night and how it set the tone for the others to follow.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
