In regards to Tom being annoyed at the lack of professionalism at MFC, I hardly blame him.

I don't care how many clearances or contested possessions he gets, when the vice captain goes out and gets smashed on a Sunday after a game, it reeks of a lack of professionalism, no matter how it's spun.

As rpfc mentioned, Scully would have entered the AFL excited by the prospect of working with other professionals who do the utmost to extract the best from theirselves.

Obviously this is not the case at MFC right now.

Over time Scully will realise that's the way it is, even at the next level, except for in extreme circumstances.

i try not to read them myself but my host family did tell me about this one and you guys really should pull your heads in and stop panicing because nothing had been agreed to yet

no i have not been approched by gws no i have not agreed to anything with mfc. were waiting for the season to finish so we can see what deal the players assoscation can get and also form i am in and get a better deal. dont want to be negotating a contract in the vfl lol. if i am then we will talk before seeason end otherwise will wait. everything is in the hands of al my manager yes he does talk with gws all the managers do but he has told me not to say anything anyway i cant talk to gws before this season if over but cant say why yet .... .all in good time be patiant

The whole GWS-signs-Scully-and-trades-him-to-Richmond is poppycock. They can't actually do that with a player on an AFL list, only with players who aren't listed who they're picking up. Tendai Mzungu is the example - Gold Coast grabbed him and traded him to Freo as a non-AFL level player, but GC couldn't do the same with, say, Ablett or Bock.

IIs it school holidays?

The question should be, why are you following them around on twitter :) they are footballers...not the messiah.

Maybe Scully dones't like twitter etc and told the boys not to mention him as he likes his privacy. Just cause some people like to share crao about their lives, not everyone does!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
