The afl is turning into a joke there are so many inconsistencies

its not funny,what I did find funny today they the afl referred to themselves as

world leaders in drug testing which is laughable! And dont get me started

on collingwood and there clash jumper. I don't blame people for losing interest and

crossing over to premier league soccer, a league or nrl.

We win tomorrow maybe it will ease the sourness of the whole situation.

And then we lose to the Roos by a couple of points and we wonder what would have made the difference. We have the roos and st.kilda which should be both close games. 1 player can make the difference.

This is the reason in all walks of life in this country that people in control do exactly what they want because they know that the people will just roll over after a week or so and let things go--can't be bothered ----don't want the aggro----won't protest----lets move on attitude, even when the population at large know they are being shafted!!!!

In this case its our sport of Football as we know it at stake.

The AFL I'm sure have the best of intentions but they have to stop fiddling with the rules, these are adults playing, professional sportsmen, accidents will occur in all kinds of ways caused by no malice or intention. If they try too hard to legislate against it, we'll have a completely sterile product and people will slowly turn their backs on the sport and turn to badminton or something with more red blooded endeavour

If they want to make the sport a better option than soccer for kiddies to play, how about starting with really hitting hard those players who sink the fist into behind the play and all this pushing and shoving and elbowing even while the ball has not been bounced?
