More than a glimmer, a fresh beam. Thanks must go to his fantastic support from friends and family.

Jimmy and his family are fighting a long and constant battle and it's full credit to them that they have been able to focus not only on his recovery but also on doing good things for others during this time.

I'm not claiming any credit for any of this but, on my travels, I've just visited the ancient city of Jerusalem and the Western Wall of what's left of the Temple that stood there 2,000 years ago. The tradition is that you're supposed to leave a note in the cracks of the wall with your wishes to god (assuming he or she exists) and I left two notes. The first was a follow up to a request I made in 2000 which was partially accepted when the Demons made the grand final. This time I asked for "one better please". The other note was for Jimmy and all of those in need of healing including the world itself.

I know that both requests are pretty hard asks but hopefully, this news is an indication that, in spite of all of the natural and the man-made catastrophes we're seeing, something's working up there.

Great news for a great man. Whispering Jack that such a nice thing you did, it shows how we should be caring of others, which seems to become more and more rare these days. And i also like the one for our next flag. If it works you can take all of us from demonland so we to can ask for a flag. :)

Keep it up Jimmy ..... an inspiration to us all. Let's hope for some similar news in due course about your old mate Sean.

They just showed a glimpse of Jimma on the news,

for a man thats had 22 tumors removed he looks great, only got two left

most people would crap themselves with two and he has got rid of 22.

Hope this stimulates the players next week, Go Dees

What an inspiration....

Hopefully Sean Wight is heading along the same path to recovery...

I did the same thing last year when I went overseas and went to the Cologne Cathederal. Im not religious and I don't go to church but it was a huge & beautiful Cathederal and I lit a candle as you do and prayed that Jimmys cancer go away. I dont have any family members who are sick (touch wood) and Jimmy was the person I could think of. I just hope these 2 tumours go away and no more comes back. Its amazing hwta he has been through. Just hope the dees win next week.

I/We want to see it out on the Football Field each and every week this year too. The players and coaches would all realize that we have one very special Prez.

Without his hard yakka we could so easily have moved to Carrara by now, But as it stands we are Firmly entrenched at the the MCG.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
