Power Bands, the Fev and Me

Featured Replies

Over the past two months I've been wearing the POWER BANDS and feeling as strong as an ox or at least as strong as the Fev but after Mr. Samuels and his ACC intervened, I'm more than somewhat deflated and can't even lift an iPhone. There has to be some justice in the world surely?

Speaking of deflated cutomers...... in the news this week the revelation of the sus financial practices and dubious benefits of a company fLogging erectile disfunction treatments. Yes, THAT ONE !

RFLOL - proves you don't need to be smart to play sport.

If you had a choice in life, be smart or dumb and make lots of money playing sport!! hmmmm hard one really.

Just shows its 90% in the head.

They must feel a bit hard done by. A little stiff to get singled out like that, but it's yet to be seen if the ACCC's case will stand up in a court of law.

Nobody tell Jackattack...

I could smell the burning rubber from the powerband bonfire he had last week from miles away.

Actually I'm a little disappointed, now how are we supposed to identify the gullible fools?

Got the exact same bet on with my best mate for 2011, except it's $100 for whoever finishes higher at the end of the H&A season. Like you, couldnt shake his hand fast enough

Can't understand how anybody honestly bought this candy, over $50 for a piece of rubber with aluminium on it? Must have been an exceptional sales pitch...

Not only that, but they actually went on to profess how much better, stronger, more balabced they felt wearing it. Ha...

Just shows how weak and easily manipulted their minds were!

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • POSTGAME: West Coast

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.
