Putrid start for the rams D, Jets went 99yrds

Offence isn’t great outside the run in the first qtr either, all throws at the line or behind and 2 of them tipped and one should have been a pick 6.

38yrd run called back for an illegal shift, TE slightly moved towards the line of scrimmage, so minimal…

Then Stafford throws a interception that could have only been to a jets player.

Why did I get up to watch this crud. This is a typical rams things, got the path to the playoffs, go to a club that’s been struggling and play like dog Vomit.

We sto the Jets on their own 34 when they went for it on 4th and 1 and we score the TD. Big momentum change.

6-6 as both teams miss the PAT

8mins left in the second and the panthers have 20pts vs the cards… 😮

Barkly has sliced it up in the first qtr.

Rams had jets players well short of the line to gain and miss tackles, multiple players miss and they keep getting big gains. We had the most missed tackles all year and it’s only getting worse.

Huge strip sack for curl, Verse recovers and a Rodgers injured in the play.

Ball on the Jets 21.

TD HIGBEE!!!

First game back since the play offs last year when he hurt his ACL, MCL and Meniscus. So that surgery and a shoulder ligament surgery. Welcome back Higgs!

Rams turn Jets over with good field position, doing well then a hold and then a taunting call ruins the momentum, FG is good so up by 10, but the biggest problem was not taking more time off the clock. Really dumb by the Rams there.

Only 3 Road winners this week but T_U managed to snag all 3 and in the process, picked up a bonus point.  Well played!

We play for Double Points in the last 2 weeks (17 & 18)

Entering the final straight, just about anyone can win and the scores have really tightened up at the top

Seahawks lose it right at the end! Cards lose, Niners lose. Great day for the Rams

Reasonably sure that if the Rams beat Arizona next week, you win the division regardless of the week 18 result against Seattle

That's what the playoff machine told me anyway!

And your match-up in the playoffs would probably be the Packers or Washington

Yeah if we win next week we pretty much win the division. But there is a super unlikely scenario supposedly where we don’t, but I didn’t look into it.

The days of the NFC West as the power house are no longer, none of the teams this year would be happy with their performance!

All eyes are now on NFC North, 3 teams with double digit win tallies already

Agree, but the Niners at full strength would be right up there.
And funnily enough we now have a healthy oline we haven’t given up a sack in three straight games.

Time to get creative?

Printable NFL Week 17 Against the Spread Pick 'em Sheets

Even though Detroit have had a dominant season, they could still slip to the wild-card position and be on the road throughout the playoffs

The week 18 match-up against the Vikes will probably decide things (unless the Lions go a game clear after week 17)

Regardless, the Lions or the Vikings will be on the road in the 1st week of the playoffs against the winner of the NFC South (Atlanta or Tampa Bay) ... or possibly against the winner of the NFC West (Rams or Seattle)

And the Packers might need some help from Atlanta (@ Washington) in order to avoid a trip to Philadelphia in the first week of the playoffs.

Packers destiny is in their own hands though (@ Minnesota then home to the Bears) in order to finish as the 6 seed

Haven't had a close look at the AFC yet but there are probably similar stories in that conference

I think Detroit will look back on this season as a what could have been. I can’t see them winning a SB with those injuries on their D. But in saying that neither the Chiefs or Bills have great D, so if they do face either it’s likely a high scoring game.

I'd love them to win it but I think it will catch up. The arms of Mahomes and Allen would have a field day.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
