Gee the Ravens WR’s are dropping some easy catches.

Story of this round of matches (dropped catches) It's as if they are thinking of the extra yardage after the catch!

Great run by Jackson just then to set up the field goal

Pressure looks intense out there but the two drops by the ravens were like you said more looking for what they are going to do next.

And there is the fourth. Arm was hit so just one of those things but it’s not been his night so far.

Oooof, nearly the fifth.

Having a game to forget

Ravens have been good

Scoring on 7 straight drives vs this D is insane.

Ravens D has been good, but the Ravens has busted up the niners D, and tbh I did not think teams could do it to the degree the Ravens have.

Lamar Jackson proving very elusive for the 49ers pass rush. He’s having a great game.

He has been so much better this year, they finally gave him a good receiving corp and he is much more dangerous for it.

49ers the standout choice and probably the Rams?  Otherwise, it's tricky (again)

Going for broke...

49ers, Raiders, Rams

Rams, 49ers, Steelers

Ravens and Lamar were excellent but we played into their hands. Choosing not to run as much early was a big mistake and overcommitting to blitzes made it very easy for Lamar to do his thing as lanes opened up and he waltzed out of the pocket. Not taking anything away from them but it wasn't good enough from a coaching standpoint.

Was tossing up between Raiders and Falcons, went with Falcons because I think they have more to play for technically still able to take out the NFC South. I guess the Raiders could still pinch a wildcard as well but that seems highly unlikely.

Cricket is done but we've got a good match-up tomorrow (Lions @ Dallas Saturday Night Football)

But at this time of the year teams can start resting a few starters if their playoff spot is entrenched ... Dallas is the 5 seed and can't move from that spot unless the Eagles somehow slip up

Detroit can finish no worse than the 3 seed but can't finish any higher unless the Eagles or the 49ers falter in their last 2 games (which is unlikely)

Still, Prescott vs Goff will be worth watching

Game kicks off at 12.15pm

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
