its in the right direction but I also would have prefered more blue. I hope the numbers will be blue and not red

Yeah, I agree R-46. The addition of blue numbers may just make the difference.

Because if we went reverse, there would still be clashes with teams.

Adding more red would create a crash with Gold Coast, most likely Brisbane and most likely Sydney.

So another jumper would be needed for these teams.

But our home jumper doesn't clash with any of those teams. If we had two jumpers (normal and 'reverse'), three shorts (blue, red and white), and two socks (red and blue) we wouldn't have a problem.

378 posts and we won't be able to change or influence the decision one bit. funny isn't it

Yeah, not sure why I even go to the games?

Cam Schwab is going off that advice.

We need a third jumper if we have predominantly red and predominantly blue jumpers.

Post 378 is repost of a Cam Schwab post.

From Cam Schwab "It has an MCC feel about it, remembering that the MCC colours are navy, red and white."

I think a lot of us predicted the gothic MFC letters (similar to MCC) would be on the quernsey - WRONG

No-one got close to predicting final solution

I did push for navy shorts a number of times though :)

The red yolk is tiny on the home jumper. Is this the actual jumper?

The jumper needs to be tucked in.

That is the whole jumper you're seeing.

A few had some red V with blue trim styles.

If we can get navy shorts and red socks that would be great. But white socks might the goer.

Looks to be the same red yolk dimensions as the red yolk dimensions on the clash jumper....

Why might white sox be the "goer". Can you see any problems with red sox?

Edit: Ah, since I have taken to avoiding the clash jumper thread, it turns out I missed the fact that this was posted there hours ago.

Delete/merge away.

Well DC I said I would not be back till 2011

However could not wait!

Both new jumpers leave me cold however the look will change when they have numbers and on a human in real life

(I hope)

but when we win 12 games next year I will not care!

Looked up the other lines on the site and I actually like those a lot more than this year.

There are a number of items there that I would consider buying.

Not a lot of "demons" in the designs!

Not sure what happened to "Bring back the Demon"

Anyone see the "leaked" strip on the hun website?

ludicrous

we need to start being careful what we post, check out Herald Sun website small article about our away jumper. No question they got it from here.

Actually it was posted elsewhere a good 8 hours earlier.

Just to let everyone know, we will be officially announcing the jumper tomorrow with Brent Moloney modeling the outfit.

The clash jumper is different to the one pictured above. They have got the gist of it, but it does have more blue on it.

No cartoon characters.

Cheers Cam.

I bet Beamer is in the gym right now in preparation!

    TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
