I was listening to the second quarter on the radio on the way home. Sounded like Jack Watts squibbed one in our goalsquare right before Port got a run on. What say the folks who are seeing the game?

All things considered it sounds like we're back to playing good football, but I'm worried about Port's fitness. They've been finishing very strongly and if they are close going into the final quarter they could overwhelm us.

Why on earth did we drop Dunn and bring in Wonna who is not fit.

Dunn is another big mark in the forward line and we went for a slow, unfit, injury prone forward for reasons beyond getting the best team on the park.

I'm glad Watts is proving the doubters wrong. Kick a bag son!

If Naitanui played the first half Jack Watts just played, the media would go into general meltdown.

No, Jack has put his body on the line on every occasion. Has actually been very good with his hands in the pack.

He could have gon a bit lower at the ball deep fwd and gave away a free but it was no squib.

It got nothing to do with precedent. Well done.

Miller with 3 to half time is a good effort.

I dont get the first bit..? Of course it does.. if ive never offered advice before, so how could i be considered the 'last' person to be dishing it out??

anyway..

No-one said his 3 goals wasnt a good effort. It is.. But its a step back to have to have him in the team again.

..and to say a half of good footy in how many YEARS from him, should make posters 'blush' for calling it as they see it in the past, is just ridiculous..

he hasnt gotten the best out of himself and is lucky to be on an afl list, even you could see that rhino..

well, maybe demon_rolleyes.gif

3rd qtr starting.. C M O N D E E S ! ! ! !

When you see the replay, you will know the only squib was the said commentator.Who was it BTW?

Miller should be dropped more often if he kicks 4 goals on return.

Still I dont see him as part of our future.

This is one game. In Darwin.

He has been such a waste for so long one good performance wont get me putting him in our Grand Final side.

    TRAINING: Monday 11th November 2024

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
