Any dees supporters not had a great trip to SA. Not including the fact we always lose

5 or so years ago now my family flew over to Moronville to watch teh Dees/Crows clash. We sat behind the goals with the cheer squad. The place was full, and I mean FULL of d!ckheads. Went down with my father at half time and had a beer in the zoo - that's where the animals are right? Didn't feel at all safe going to the toilets with my Melbourne jumper on.

We got absolutely flogged that day, Birdman put on a real show from memory. The club organised a post-match function in a room on centre wing. The group of 100 or so Demons supporters received a police escort to the function. It was one of the most amazing things I've witnessed at a football match!

For the record, Daniel Bell received our best on ground from that match!

i havent been to Adelaide, but i have been in a Crows Chersquad section with a friend when the played Lions up here. Talk about bogans and trash what an unruly group they are, i was lucky they didnt see i was wearing a dees shirt

Chewing gum thrown in hair...spitting...Condoms of urine.... Threats of violence.....women not allowed to use the toilets....and coppers said you shouldn't be here...

Is Eddie experiencing what it's like to be an opposition supporter at a Collingwood match..?

We need a "like" button, because that's what I'd do to this comment.

Fancy having the arrogance to call Adelaide feral, when Collingwood are the Victoria versions!

The irony of it all, I have to go to SA Saturday because my brother's son is getting married in Kapunda up near the Barossa Valley and then I'm getting the first plane out of Adelaide Sunday morning so I can get back to Melbourne to see us play Adelaide here.

If we were playing there I wouldn't go I've heard too many stories of bad form by the ferals over there.

I have been about once a year for the last 8 years as my grandchildren live there.

Last time I went was to a Port game. At quarter time the scoreboard showed a list of all Port goal kickers

followed by a replay of each goal. I thought that at least I would see our only goal again. But no.

At halftime and 3/4 time they again showed a list of goal kickers followed by vision of all the Port goals.

They never once showed a list of our goal kickers.

I wrote to AFL to complain that this showed a total lack of respect for the opposition and would never happen in Victoria. I never received any reply

The port supporters are the worst in the league(ask any adelaide supporter) and I believe part of the

reason is that Port management teach their supporters that Port is it and the rest are crap and should be shown no

respect.

When I went to Football Park last year for the Port game it was the most placid crowd I've ever seen. I've seen more passion at North vs Freo games.

Obviously the Crows fans are somewhat more animated!

port fans are much much worse.

few years ago melbourne won and the fans were spitting on melb fans and throwing stuff at them

worst experience at a game ever.

never went back and i love my footy

I've had a very similar experience in the outer at Skilled Stadium in the game we were expected to lose by 200 points, we were up for most of the 1st qtr and they turned on my friend and I (after welcoming us for being so passionate to come to watch the expected thrashing)...scary

Went across to Adelaide in, I think 1994, anyway it was a game we lost but Sean Charles had a blinder!! We sat behind the goals at Footy Park and copped that much abuse it wasn't funny. The whole 'kick a Vic' thing was in vogue in S.A. at the time as I recall. Signs all over shop windows saying 'KICK-A-VIC'. Anyway we sat there as a family with family friends and just before three quarter time I was spat on by an Adelaide supporter. Disgusting ferals!

As if this was not bad enough, when we returned to the parking lot we found that our victorian licence plates had been taken from the rear of the car and our demons sticker had been ripped off and replaced with a 'Camry Crows' sticker

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
