Is anyone able to give update on who performed respectfully for Casey yesterday?

I thought Casey had the following Demons playing:

Maric

Cheney

Newton

Watts

Garland

Bartram

Blease

Gysberts

Martin

Fitzpatick

Possibly other too

SOmeone mentioned Newton kicking 4, but I have no idea how accurate that is...

Edit: I can't find anything on their website about the game.

Yeah this is weird. Can't believe no-one knows how they went yesterday.

I am sure the report will read -

"Jack Watts played up the ground and had some classy touches."

That seems to be the standard line used when he bombs at VFL level.

I visited Bomberblitz earlier today and whilst very Essendon-centric they touched on Melbourne once when one poster asked if Jack Watts played. Two posters suggested they didn't see him and one poster finally confirmed that he was present. I hope he did better than it sounds.

not a bad prediction. This from demonology...we lost to bombers 2nds by 12 goals...

Maric: Good,busy

Bail: Good.

Martin: Reasonably good in variety of roles.

Healey: Good

T Mac,& Cheney: tight and some run

Hughes Good to very good

Watts: Got better as game progressed and classy when he got it.

"Juice:".. Our best with 4 goals something. Apparently his contested marks and pressure were exemplary.

Also, Casey lost.

Would love to see Newton back - I am desperate for someone to kick a goal. Maric would be ok too

Never have called for Newton to come in before, but i think we have little option. If he got some confidence, maybe he could do a role for us. Next week will be tough with the pies backline.

If he has found form, then we have little choice.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
