If I worked for the Footy Department, and Watts wasn't ready, I'd have made some plans to fix our forward line prior to this season without him in the picture. Why didn't we recruit a forward? I can accept that Watts isn't ready, but when are any players ever ready. Surely, he can't be the only 19 year old whose bones are still growing that can't play.

Can I point out that Juice was recruited for just that but sadly his potential has not been realised. If he had done what was expected of him, i.e. big strong power forward, we would not be in this position. You win some and you lose some and clearly up until 12/3/2010 we have lost out on Juice. Having said that you can hardly accuse the Fd of not making plans for the forward line, they just didn't work out.

I just spoke too Jack, He will not play this weekend but will play a half a Casey next week and will be a starter in round 2 of the season proper.

He'll be ready rd 2 for a full game but it will be at casey... Jack will be waiting a couple more to appear in the red and blue
