If a 23 year old and 2 25 year olds don't want to go to go to Melbourne in the PSD what makes you think that a 30 year old would? I don't understand why Bradshaw..... I think the Swans have made a big play for him.
I think once Rischitelli said no to the Lions & Blues deal, Sydney would have then done just that. They would jump at Bradshaw rather than a knucklehead in Fevola. Especially after dealing with Hall. Money also talks. Edited by High Tower

My point is that he may not want to go there.

What I don't understand is if he was unhappy about being shopped around to other clubs, why would he wait until the end of trade week and then leave for another club?

If he was unhappy about being shopped around, why would he want to then leave the club?

A rat is being smelt by myself.

That's exactly what I said earlier in the thread and got no responses that made any sense.

It says in the article that he already rejected a 'good' deal from Carlton, but now he's cracked the sads with Brisbane and is now wanting to 'test the waters' at other clubs. In my mind he has already tested them. I don't get it.

If I were a Brisbane supporter I'd be a tad crapped off with both club and player at how this has all gone down personally.

Bradshaw is on hist last legs. 15-20 games over 2 years playing out of the goal square at best. Had to leave Brisbane though because 2 poor games and a Fev bag will see him finishing up his career in the QAFL.

He would be superbly suited to Sydney. He could concentrate on playing the 12 games they get in NSW only and would be very dangerous on the small SCG. The Sydney option could prolong his career.

He'll probably follow the $$$ to Visy though

Michael Bowers (Brisbane CEO) is a clown.

He's come out today and stated that:

"It was not a situation where we wanted to get rid of Daniel. Not at all. We wanted to keep him. We offered him a contract and he made the decision to reject it."

Isn't this the same man, who tried to palm him off to Carlton for the Fev trade?

I must have been dreaming of the images of Bradshaw being escorted around Visy Park by Brett Ratten.

of course they wanted to keep him :)

I would doubt that he wouldn't be made an offer from someone, somewhere. He'll be playing in 2010 for sure.

So Vosssy would have to be fuming after paying pick 12,Henderson and Bradshaw for Fevola who won't get his usual supply with half the feed going to Jono Brown.

If it is indeed Carlton who may have pulled a shifty here, Vossy I would imagin, would be quietly fuming.

Will end up at Carlton.

Brisbane supporters will be fuming too.

I know this isn't Melbourne related, but:

Bradshaw met with Carlton officials yesterday and came away impressed.

Carlton have matched Sydney's offer of 3 years (however, no mention of $)

The Blues main sales pitch was that if he joined Carlton there will be less travel and more benefical to his young family.

He's expected to make his decision this afternoon (Friday).

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
