Is the shape of the singlets on those specs representative of how they'll actually be? The guys' one looks like one of those hideous American sleeveless t-shirts, and the shape of the womens' is really motherly. Is there any chance they'll actually be more, for want of a better word, singlet-y!?

Like you, I wear no merchandise other than a scarf to the footy, and can't really see myself wearing much Melbourne themed casual wear, except for the singlets. When they were mentioned I had in mind something like the Singha/Red Bull singlets that everyone comes back from Thailand with (Red Bull Singlet). In varying combinations of red/navy/white/grey, with the old school MFC logo on them. They're the most comfy thing to chuck on over bikinis in summer or to wear to bed, and I know pretty much all my guy mates live in Singha singlets over summer.

Firstly, yes the specs are the technical illustrations that get sent to the manufacturers, so what you see is what you get.

When I did the singlets I had the Bonds ribbed cotton singlets in mind, for the men, but wanted something more fitted (cotton-elastane) for the females. I see what you're saying about those Singha singlets though. I can easily manipulate the shape of the female singlets to a less for fitting one, although you don't want such large armholes because that really limits where you'd be able to wear them to, and almost forces you to layer them. Which could be the look you're going for, but in a limited range you need to have multi-functional items to bump up your volume. That Singha style, is very limiting for females and I can only really see younger females buying them. But I will make the singlet let fitted.

Also I really want to stay away from making things that look similar to our Reebok range. I know Reebok does make a performance style singlet that is quite similar to the Singha design, so I gotta be careful. We can't have multiple ranges take sales off one another.

Any males (who can bloody see those stupid pictures :angry: ) not liking the male singlet and want thinner shoulders and larger armholes?

The reason I put a bream on the beanie is because I know that when I sit in the rain, a bream is really useful for keeping the water out of your face. I have one of those 'cap' beanies and they are great if you don't sit undercover.

I've also done the very plain knitted unisex beanie that sort of works for everyone, although I'm thinking I'll get rid of the double fold and just got for more plain shapes.

Can I ask what specifically you don't like about the unisex headgear? Got a specific design in mind?

I'm sorry that the stupid pictures still won't work for some of you, although they should work if you are viewing the site in Firefox.

I tried to view them on a computer at uni (when I stupidly turned up 30 minutes early to a lecture ), and they worked with Firefox but not with IE.

Hopefully Demonland's technical support (ie- resident nerd) will help me figure out this mystery soon :D

i really cant see items apart from match day jumpers ever selling big... im happy to get my free scalf buy the match day jumper and clash jumper every year

the design side of the stuff u have produced looks good... but for me i would never buy it or wear it just coz i wouldnt!

im pretty sure they have made diff cut match jumpers in the past for females?

I see what you're saying.

The elastic at the bottom gives the garment better strength and better dimensional stability, but I'm happy to get rid of it and go for a looser fit.

Is anyone else anti elasticated waists?

I wouldn't listen to me on this.

To say I know next to nothing about fashion is an understatement. It's probably a safer bet to do the opposite of what I say. Get more opinions before listening to this fashion wasteland

i like my jackets with pockets to stuff my hands into, and without the elastic trim.

have you thought of having a jumper without a hood?

i like my t-shirts with longer sleeves, although they're very hard to find.

I like the rugby top.

i don't wear singlets.

there's a female styled guernsey i've seen for sale with a similair neck to the rugby top, without the buttons.

Good idea to remove the double fold on the unisex beanie.

I don't like caps with a metal buckle or plastic strap, because they're just not comfortable wearing backwards. My ideal cap would probably have a velcro strap or have wouldn't be adjustable at all.

I had an idea Jaded...what about having a logo on the chest/pocket area with Demonland underneath and the number of the member ie 799 or whatever it is... a bit like the cricketers do....its a little bit personal and you know maybe could be a range of shirts or have it separate and the sow it on.... might also be good for recognizing other demonlanders at the footy and saying goodaye etc.
