Hi all

I'm flying up for the Melb v Brisbane game and staying with friends at the Gold Coast.

Could anyone please give some information on the best way to get there and times (I will be drinking.)

Public transport says it will take me 4 hrs. Maybe someone is driving from Gold Coast and back?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

not a trip id like to take on public transport when i was half toasted...

Maybe a supporter group I can tag along with?

not sure other than public transport with Train and Bus mate.

Hopefully someone who lives on the coast can give you a lift.

There is always a cab but that will cost you $100 plus lol

Jump on the train at Robina or Nerang and hop off at Southbank an hour later.

After drinking for 6 hours Friday night, 14 hours on the Saturday and 13 hours on the Sunday for last year's GABBA game before getting on a train at 7.20 AM to get to Bris central, to sprint and change trains to get one to go down to the Coast to then run and get the bus all to get our plane before 10:30...Go to Brissie Airport is the moral

There is a regular game day bus service that leaves from Coolangatta and picks up from a number of points on the Gold Coast.

It does pick up at the Bus terminal in Surfers Paradise $20.00 round trip. Stops about 6 more times after that and drops at the Gabba.

Leaves about 20 minutes after the game, no alcohol on the bus.

Depending on traffic perhaps 90 mins there could be a bit longer to get back. Stonestreet coaches(07 5594 9933) run it.

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft.     Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week.
