Amazing that nobody started a thread till now concerning the Filth's magnificent effort during the Monday game against the Saints.

I Loved it ! The Filth are very Ordinary but not awful so once again they will merely tread water for another year.

The Saints are a big chance to beat the Handbags in the Granny if they don't get too many long injuries.

How StKilda are playing now is what I wish for Melbourne to play in a few years time. The intent and hunger to be first to the ball which is paramount, support for each teammate, the desire and determination to be the best defensively and to want to be able to score frequently and efficiently. To thrive and prosper at each and every contest. Rebound quickly using the centre corridor with pace and hit up targets in the F50. Most of all to win in the current fashion as is StKilda at present.

As much as I enjoyed it myself, lets not forget a few absent names...

Anthony

Davis

Medhurst

Didak

No name a few...

But god I hate Collingwood.

Is always amusing to watch the Pies get all the hype in the lead up to a big game.....

......then coming a mile short of the mark and crashing in a heap.

Having said that, I have to say I am a little worried about what the Saints may do to us in a couple of weeks given their incredible defensive pressure and their ability to limit their opponents scoring (their opponents are averaging a mere 54 points a game so far this season) and our difficulty in putting goals on the board at the best of times. Going to be interesting.

But still, always a laugh watching the Pies faulter.

St. kilda's Game Plan at this stage is Faultless to be honest. Yep that's the way you want a TEAM to play. Not one weak link at the minute. I reckon they would beat Geelong right now, would be a classic.

Collingwood are completely irrelevant, apart from rent a crowds, everything else about them are meaningless.

Agreed. It mattered that much to me I slept through the second half.
