I've got a physio coming before the game to do strapping and stuff. She can't hang around all day, but will probably able to stay for a bit of the game.

I wont be able access too much tape or equipment, so if anyone has anything bring it along.

Got the grandfather thing out of the way (Jasmine Rose came 8 days early) so now I'm back in on the coaching panel. Spoke to BL2381 yesterday and he's in along with Dookie.

It looks like we've had to recruit hard to overcome a few players we've lost (cheers Rivvo) so like the Demons we're going with youth and a sh*tload of run and carry.

I'm also going to try to get one of those coaches whiteboards so I can do the team placements properly and I'll also have the odd message or two for the boys and (girl if she's playing this time) later in the week.

in match 2 against saintsational, we were seriously down on numbers, and the sainters loaned us 4 (very) good players...

they included the 3 spinner brothers, who played their guts out for us...

joey spinner almost won us the match...

the sainters may be down on numbers on sunday...

their numbers may come good but, if not, we will need individual players to say on sunday that they can volunteer to play their best for the opposition or, alternatively, they would rather go home without playing...

OK, I've thought about it:

I might be able to bring a couple of my housemates (geelong supporters) down who i'm sure would be willing to run around to try to cream me. Although by the sounds of it, one may be leaving for Sydney on Saturday. They are both pretty good, one playing seniors/reserves in Tassie SFL.

I've just got a couple of questions that someone may be able to answer; first, what time are we turning up? and am I right in assuming everyone needs to look after their own medical issues (i.e. there's no insurance) so if someone goes down with a bad injury (touch wood for everyone), it's on their own head (so to speak) to look after?

I have no qualms about this - just thought it might be an important issue and will probably change how much i'll put my head over the ball or seriously justify how hard i'm going to be hitting a sainter, I don't want to be liable for a big medical bill - struggling student here!
