The AFL has again put the Laws of the Game Survey on their website for fans to provide feedback.

This year has felt much less controversial than last year in terms of rule/interpretation changes.

I think the AFL will remove the automatic 50 meter penalty from the centre square for interchange infringements.

In the NAB cup i feel that a kick that hits the goal post, but then goes through the goals, should be called a goal because the posts no longer signify a score (given play continues if it bounces of the post)

I also like the question about the umpire being used as a blocker for a player to play on from a set shot, not looking at anyone Stephen Milne.

Any other suggestions we can think of?

I think this year has been the worst umpiring I have ever seen. Probably the most consistent, but just weak frees given away far too much, far too many frees are given away when they are technically there but in reality didn't affect the contest.

It gets so frustrating when free kicks are given away with no one being impeded. Boils my blood but i can't see the AFL changing it because they want to parcel the game and make it neat and tidy.

The worst thing about our game is when a player is tackled that player being tackled dives forward and gets a "in the back free kick."

This is a mans game. A TACKLE IS A TACKLE regardless if he falls forward or not. Only have "in the back" in marking contests.

Players diving in head first or doing the Ill raise my arm and drop my head to get a "too high" shouldn't be rewarded either. ITS SOFT!

These are 2 rules that puts a blight on our game.

I like neck high tackles like in rugby.

That will seperate the men from the boys.

These are the very reasons I hate our game.

Like i've said before if it wasn't for the DEEZ I wouldn't follow this dog of a game. Fix what I said above and there wont be so many grey areas.

If a player ducks and receives a free kick for over the shoulder you can blame the umpire rather than the rules.
