I'm not convinced that we have a surplus of inside mids:

McLean - Our best Mid, inside or out - Definite keep

Jones - Still young and supports McLean well, 2nd best mid - Keep

McDonald - Was our best insider up until this season - Will have a reduced role next year in the backlien and retire

Moloney - Not convinced he is an insider, more of a predator type waiting for the ball to be fed to him

Valenti - I was really hoping he'd come on strong but I have my doubts

Grimes - He might be our next big thing in the midfield but I'm just happy for him to play some consistent footy next year

Ok, forget inside midfielders, think more one paced midfielders. Jones, McLean and Moloney all get burned off by quicker opponents. I just think we need room for Buckley and maybe Davey and hopefully a few pacey types from this years draft.

Rather than have two or three of the blokes listed playing for Casey why not move one or two on?

No one seems to address our surplus of inside midfielders.

There is not enough room in our team for all of Jones, McDonald, McLean, Moloney, Valenti. All inside players, all one paced.

Jones and McLean have the most value but I'd hate to get rid of either. Maybe Moloney would be worth a second round pick?

i agree..

JOnes a real concern, just runs up & down on the spot! Id take a top 20 pick, or a key forward..

Moloney will stay, Valenti no certanty..

Davey plays his best footy in the forward line lurking- lets up Bailey wakes up and doesn't put him back into the midfield..or even worse, a back flank.

Jones should be traded.

Moloney is the age we dont want to get rid of, he leads well- and had a ripper yr until the shoulder injury- well over his groin, so a big pre season and he'll surprise a few and have a good one next year (injury free touch wood)

I think your correction from inside to one paced is apt. We do need to correct the pace deficiency hopefully with skilled players.

I think Moloney could be in jeopardy and I cant see why we need to elevate Valenti.

Its important we work with what we've got Rhino.

Moloney is skilled, Buckley has pace. Nice combination, if you dont have both in one player.

Am i alone by wanting us to pursue a trade for Frawley?

He just has not showed me anything. Martin, Garland etc have showed way more than him in nearly just as much opportunity.

Frawley, Clint Bart, Dunn, Newton All trade able in my eyes

Bell seems to be a favorite of Bailey

Frawley will be fine, he just needs more time to grow & develope, Garland is one out of the box & martin is allready has a huge body & a cool head. You don't find these everyday.

Frawls has only been here for 5 minutes, give him a go.

Moloney in jeopardy? Are you saying that you think he may be traded or losing his place on the list (delisted) come October?
