Go take a nap you grumpy old grand dad.

haha

it's pants. A bit like your post.

My bomber mates were asking me where superman was? No one had a clue wtf was going on?

It felt like i was at a richmond game and the roar-o-meter was back.

yes it IS that gimmicky

It was at 3/4 time and it wasn't the Club song that was played. It was the theme from Superman - stirring stuff. I think it supports our theme "Masters of the MCG". It's time to be bold.

Good call....

hardly gimmicky.

I was a bit perturbed when I thought he was going to play the Club song at 3/4 time, but quite happy for him to play a "revving up" tune - as long as club song is not played until the end.

It is great to have something that is ours alone.

Theme? How about Let's win every game at the G. Then we can be the masters.

Let's get a game in September before superman song pops out.

Like i said, love it at the start, but you can keep the 'rev up'

I'd prefer to see it on the field.

I'll take my inspiration from Jimmy and the boys tackling and kicking goals!

oh god the trumpeter sh*ts me! why does he have to dress like a dodgy 70s college frat boy lovechild of matt preston?? i'd rather see one of liam's mates on the didge - especially at 3/4 time.

Just went on the site, and found a thread about the umpiring. 60% of people reckon it ruined the game and that they would've won had it been fair.

LAWLZ

Pretty funny. I was thinking of joining as "Dappadeedan" or something, and quietly suggesting that two of the fifties would have been goals anyway. Another two were within range, and the rest were our possessions that might have ended up as goals anyway. Oh and that most of them were completely right...

But whatever. Let them sulk. I might have been a bit kinder here if Ash was still around.

Begs the question. I know our threads never crack 30 pages on a matchday thread... but did we ever chuck a tantie like they did over the past 4 years?

Ash is still around Dappa, he has posted about 5 times this last week on various topics.

But he has been much quiter, more to our loss. He was a good poster who had his head screwed on fairly right (being a dons supporter only fault :P )

What about the Melbourne Members in the reserve singing the song halfway through the final qtr. They shut up pretty quick when the Bombers banged on consecutive quick goals. Wait till the end of the game please.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
