Yze_Magics big prediction

Michael 'Juice' Newton, aka The Forgotten Man

Showed tremendous promise at the tail end of 2007, only to lose his way under a new coach.

After seeing what Bailey has done with the likes of Garland and Warnock, I feel that Newtons supreme talent will soon be unlocked by the coach in the most amazing way possible.

I must say, a few weeks ago I had written Juice off (silly I know). Reasons being that I had the feling he didnt really have the desire to play top level footy, and he just wasnt a team man.

But I look back on what he did at the end of last year, with his insane marking ability and goal kicking. He even pushed up on to the wing in a fine performance vs Collingwood under lights at the MCG.

I can see him having some big bags of goals before the year is out, and taking the comp by storm.

End of year prediciton for Juice Newton.

Is named in the side to play Brisbane, round 14 at the MCG.

Round 14 vs Bris - 4 goals

Round 15 vs WB - 5

Round 16 vs Frem - 7

Round 17 vs Kang - 5

Round 18 vs Ess - 8

Round 19 vs Gee - 6

Round 20 vs WC - 5

Round 21 vs Port - 2

Round 22 vs Rich - 9

Juice to boot an amazing 51 goals over the last 9 rounds, at an average of 5.7 goals per game. It will be a performance to rival the Allen Jakovich explosion of 1991.

Juice wins the club goalkicking by a mile, as if from nowhere.

Suddenly, the Demons are blessed with a the games most dynamic young trio of talls. (Newton, Natanui and Garland). The medias new catchphrase becomes 'Buddy who?'.

I am expecting Juice to come in to the side sometime in the next 2 weeks , and that by yeas end he will have close to 30 goals to his name.

I can see him hving some big bags of goals before the year is out.

Dean Bailey has given me great hope for our young guys.

You forgot to say how many he will kick in our Premiership win in this year's Grand Final.

Great, now you've just destined Newton to spend the rest of the year struggling at Sandy.

even better he will kick massive bags against everyone and we'll still lose enough games to finish on the bottom!

JJJJJUUUUIIIICCCCCEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the words of the late Clinton Grybas:

NEEEEEEWWWWTTTTTOOOONNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!

slightly off topic. Does anyone know how Ricky is doing?

Best on ground last week for Sandy 2s.

what on earth are you getting off on?? And will you be changing your nick to Juice-Magic???

 Just hate thinks what nasties lie in store for the person that next cleans his keyboard.

Still, an entertaining read!

Got reported and suspended after kicking 10.8 in the semi final. Pity. His second efforts and his attack on the ball was ferocious and intense.

i agree with yze magic to a degree.

just a few weeks ago there was a topic on juice and a lot of people were writing him off.

I think they are in for a big surprise.

People seem to forget that when he was brought into the team late last year he did very well.

He's about to step up.

I still remember Y_M's post about Judda$, saying how he will be officially announcing Melbourne as his preferred club soon.

The very next day he ruled out Melbourne

Y.M's predictions are getting old.

it was funny at first, but not anymore

Juice Newton delisted at seasons end.

Thread over.

I know players can cost us goals. I can't believe he can cost us that many goals (-4, -5, etc) although has last few games were shocking. :P

GET YOUR HAND OFF IT DARREL!!!

I can't beleive i even took the time to reply to this.

He has an attitude problem, no defensive pressure and is lazy, who does this sound like?

Now i know why Y_M likes him so much.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
