When I watched Dunn in his early(-ier) days at AFL level I thought he looked like a 'natural' forward. However, he doesn't seem to have the body of the KPP that some people wish he was.

Up forward he plays more like a small forward than a KPP. There's a reason why he's not playing for Melbourne and just going at Sandy.

Physically Dunn and Frawley have the frame to fill out to be KPP but do they have the mentality to play the KPP?

who knows but i'll definitely give them time.

With no Robbo, Holland and possibly Newton not playing this weekend, surely he has to get a chance on the forward line.

I'd like to see Dunn played in a Ryan O'Keefe style role off a half forward flank. He's got a pretty good engine and would compliment Miller and Bate also pushing up the ground.

I like this idea, but going forward we're going to play Miller and Bate as high leading half forwards, and Sylvia's body will never allow him to play full games in the midfield, so he's going to be rotating through half forward and the midfield. That's how half forward setup going forward, with Davey and Wona moving up and down between wing and the forward pocket. We need a full forward still, and while Dunn has great goal sense, he isn't a strong enough lead/mark to play full forward.

Two years ago I had him pencilled in in the role that Bate is now playing, with Bate playing more in the midfield. That's gone the other way now, and that's fine as Bate can play that role well, but I'd like to see Dunn up forward and not in the midfield. That said, I'm finding it hard to fit him in.

    REDEEMING by Meggs

    It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    Calling all fit players. Expect every available Melbourne player to board the Virgin cross-continent flight to Perth for this Round 4 clash on Saturday afternoon at Fremantle Oval.     With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.
