Tom Fullarton
I noticed a lot of positive comments about him in the most recent training report. I hope when Goodwin put a line through him last season, it was just for his ruck work, which I agree was ordinary. I think there are some decent attributes there - great follow-up after the ruck contest, highly mobile/agile etc. I hope he gets a shot at being a KP forward or even moved back with his agility. Either way he's got a year to have a crack.

I'd like to add a few to your list from the injury list and Casey etc. IMO JVR is a ripper field kick, but we don't see it a lot given his position trying to get on the end of them. Melksham is right up there and Spargo will add a lot when he comes back. I'm a big fan of Chandler's kicking and I think Jeffo is an excellent field kick too (that's for you Pickett F).

I reckon current fringe player Chris Burgess (Adel/GCS) has a very similar build.

The Roy George Thread
I assume McClure and Cornes are there to appeal to a wider audience, not that I think they'll find it amongst The Age readership. Perhaps the shock jock style is aimed at the younger audience. A bit like having the Whately and Robbo combo, with Robbo there for the nuffies as well as the younger viewer.

It's possible Max is just taking a back seat for a while to give him a spell after the recent turmoil. It also gives others opportunities to step up eg. Chin- PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 2nd December 2024
Thanks for all the ripper reports, track watchers! I'd be keen to hear how the Jones/Radford coaching is going. So far there's been some positive comments about Chaplin as forward coach. Any observations? Also keen to hear how the Roy George listing might work. As I understand it, we have 1 spot left as a Cat B, but it's never been crystal clear where AMW's spot on the list is at. Is he a Cat A rookie or Cat B? Can we shift him from one to the other to squeeze in George as a Cat B or SSP Rookie? So confusing!- The Next CEO
I hope we haven't just started our search now. Also hope Peter Bell ends up at the Pies (or nowhere) and NOT Melbourne- AFL lookalikes
- WHERE DO THEY COME FROM?
When his name was called out it was pronounced Ow, but I wouldn't have a clue and probably neither did Laura K- Defensive forward - ANB’s replacement?
Angus Brayshaw's was even more blistering at 2.81. Sometimes it just doesn't translate to the game.- Defensive forward - ANB’s replacement?
Sharp. I think they'll turn him into a valuable player (Nibbler style) by putting his best asset to work - running power!- PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 22nd November 2024
Thanks for all the pics @gs77. They're rippers and much appreciated!- AFL lookalikes
