Buddy
Did stuff all tonight. Swans have McDonald and Amartey, they’re the future. As good as he’s been it’s coming to an end, time to play him up the ground.

NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
This might sound foolish after last week but I think we can take the Cats, Blues still a year away.
-
NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
Best thing Swans can do at years end is not offer Franklin a contract. Just play McDonald & Amartey.
-
NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
Top 2 is a must.

The Run Home
I meant in terms of ability / pressure applied. We had TMac out but that’s not what I was talking about.

The Run Home
Geelong played to their maximum capacity last weekend and for all their so called dominance only won by 28. With 10 minutes to go if Kosi doesn’t miss scores are level. Our pressure was way off what we’re capable off, we have several players fumbling a lot very early in the game and we had two of our weapons in Gawn and Jackson struggling to find touch and missing with injury. For all of our so called problems we’re sitting second by 2.7%. Nothing is guaranteed but I’m confident a top 2 finish awaits then our dream of back to back is there for the taking.

Weid or Rooy?
I thought he showed a bit early against the Cats. We’re short on options so being our best option he’s going to have to find it on the run, along with a few others and the team as a whole.

Weid or Rooy?
Only 6 weeks to go in the H & A season, we know what we get with Weid and M Brown, I’d be giving JVR a three week stint to see how he goes. He could be just what we need. We still have the no.1 ranked defence in the comp, the best ruck combo, top 3 midfield (if not the best, but not on current rankings), but our fwd line is the concern. From watching the Casey highlights he can take a grab and is a reasonable kick, it’s not like he’s being played rd.1.

Weid or Rooy?
Read this on FB over the weekend and would still rather Brown than Weid.

The Run Home
Ladder predictors are fun but more than ever pointless right now. Upsets every week, just simply must keep winning.

NON-MFC: Round 17, 2022
I didn’t realise they had players out because of Covid but they were finished before that. Too many players that beat up on weaker opponents but go missing when it counts.
-
NON-MFC: Round 17, 2022
Top 2 still a chance, and will most likely go right down to the wire. Our percentage still very healthy.
-
NON-MFC: Round 17, 2022
Peter Wright for a 4th round pick.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Gawn 0 marks doesn’t help. This is Geelong’s best, we can take them come September.

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs Geelong
And Kosi’s miss

NOT Taylor Walker
Could also use that description to describe the Lions.

NON-MFC: Round 16, 2022
Makes next week even more important.
-
NON-MFC: Round 16, 2022
Geelong gets North and the Eagles twice this season.

GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
So laconic.

Clayton Oliver: A Demon for Life
Haven’t had a chance to read the whole thread yet, but I take it that by Oliver signing on the new EBA has been finalised…..

Farewell Luke Jackson
What if Brayshaw said he wanted to go back to Victoria?
-
Farewell Luke Jackson
Great post.
-
Farewell Luke Jackson
We are effectively doing it now anyway, part of the game. We’re not alone, Swans lost Hewett and Dawson last year.
-
Farewell Luke Jackson
I’d take Andrew as well, but for mine Sam Walsh is ahead of him.
