We are effectively doing it now anyway, part of the game. We’re not alone, Swans lost Hewett and Dawson last year.

Have we not reached a point in the game or in life where people can be upfront and honest. If Jackson has already made up his mind, tell the club and the players. If I was a coach or teammate not only would I have more respect for him but I would also understand and be empathetic. Whilst it may be seen as disruptive by some, I think it’s more disruptive the longer it goes on. We keep hearing professional sport is a business these days, we’ll this is just part of it. By knowing early it also gives us more time to explore our options.
