Unfair fixtures for Top 4 contenders
I think you are right actually. They beat the Bombers, Swans & Giants.

Unfair fixtures for Top 4 contenders
I donât have time to double check tonight, but Iâm pretty sure they didnât, I remember posting about it on here during the finals. Who was it that you thought they defeated?

Unfair fixtures for Top 4 contenders
Case in point : Port Adelaide Finished 2nd at the end of home and away season. Only beat one other top 8 side all year and that was the Dogs in rd 23 by 2 points. Beat Geelong in their QF, had week 2 off then got the dates wrong for their prelim only arriving at the ground with 12 minutes to go in the last qtr.

Lumumba sues AFL and Filth
Watching the morning news on channel 9 apparently Lumumba has released an âexplosive dossierâ with new claims against Gary Pert and Nathan Buckley. The story said Lumumba was meant to hand over the dossier when Collingwood did their internal review into racism (yet these new claims are about inappropriate comments made and the playing of a video but not racism related) but didnât trust them to act appropriately with it. I canât help but think why these claims werenât raised earlier rather than the drip feed approach that seems to be happeningâŠ. Nothing on any AFL pages yet.

Low Attendance
AFL announces record club memberships for this season, 1,043,604 fans have signed up.
-
Ladder postion
Looking at the ladder now with regards to percentage, we are in such a strong position because both the Lions and Freo have played North & the Eagles.

GAMEDAY: Rd 08 vs St Kilda
Spargo repeat tackles.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 08 vs St Kilda
2.2 against Footscray rd 1 1.0 against Suns rd 2 2.2 against Essendon rd 3 3.0 against Port rd 4 4.0 against GWS rd 5 2.2 against Richmond rd 6 1.1 against Hawthorn rd 7 Been serviceable for a mid sized forward in a team that has multiple fwd options and weâve only really fired in the 3rd against GWS.

GAMEDAY: Rd 08 vs St Kilda
Players should be driving the tone early.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 08 vs St Kilda
Theyâre fully aware of the challenge before them. The Saints will come hard early on, letâs not wait for the 3rd. Get it done early.

GAMEDAY: Rd 08 vs St Kilda
Would you happen to have the breakdown of many times weâve played them at the G since then? We rolled them last year but that was at Marvel.

NON-MFC: Round 8, 2022
Us last week.
-
NON-MFC: Round 8, 2022
The results over the last few weeks show us that this competition can in no way sustain 20 teams, not now nor in next 15 - 20 years. Iâm all for a team in Tasmania but a current club must be relocated, any potential incoming CEO MUST share this opinion for the good of the game.

NON-MFC: Round 8, 2022
Iâm stuck on two lines of thought right now. Tigers 2018 preliminary loss. Barring major injuries were playing in another GF.
-
NON-MFC: Round 8, 2022
Regardless of the result, suddenly the Lions win over the Swans doesnât seem as good.
-
NON-MFC: Round 8, 2022
Whatâs happening in Sydney, anyone watching? Can the Suns sustain this?
-
NON-MFC: Round 8, 2022
Did anyone catch Faganâs response to Jack Riewoldtâs comments that the game should be postponed? Thanks

Steven May One on One
In 2020 he only had 10 goals kicked on him during the home & away season yet was overlooked for Harris Andrews in the AA team even though his numbers werenât nearly as good as Mayâs. Brisbane were the buzz team at the time behind Richmond and we were playing some ordinary footy.

NON-MFC: Round 8, 2022
With the exception of GWS v Cats this week looks reasonably straight fwd, but as we know thereâs been at least 2 big upsets each week.
-
TEAMS: Rd 08 vs St. Kilda
I donât think it would be a good idea to announce a preferred option this early in the season. Covid & or injury has and will continue to give Weideman chances to prove himself.

COVID Disruptions 2022
Their only real challenge so far this season was against the Cats and they failed. No doubt theyâll pump West Coast as they excel at thumping weaker opposition. Edit : they beat the Swans which was a decent win, but the cats had a few out and to me that loss spoke volumes.

Farewell Luke Jackson
For arguments sake Jackson signs a two year extension taking him to the end of the 2024 season, at the start of the 2025 season our list could be looking something like this. Note : players age in brackets at the start of the season. I think theyâre rightâŠ. Rivers (23) ? Lever (28) Bowey (22) Petty (25) Salem (29) Langdon (29) Petracca (28) Brayshaw (28) Spargo (24) Weid (27) ANB (28) Fritsch (29) JVR (21) Pickett (23) Gawn (33) Oliver (27) Viney (30) BEDFORD (24) SPARROW (24) JORDAN (24) Harmes (29) Potentially retired : May (32) TMac (32) Brown (32). These three players alone free up a lot cap space. Without factoring in any future players that have been traded / drafted in, that is still a very competitive team. Our window is open for the next 5 years.

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
I tried it, itâs picking up my location. Iâm about as tech savvy as a pile of stacked house bricks. Its $17 US for watchafl.com, looking attractive at this point.

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
How do members / fans overseas watch? Thanks.

NON-MFC: Round 07, 2022
I read your post re the Giants, they burnt me rdâs 1,2, 4 & 6. On top of that I havenât tipped the Crows all year. Should of known betterâŠ.
