  1. Nick Riewoldt is on the table . AFL trade rumours on fire again.
  2. I wasn't aware, cheers. I work away a lot so I'm often catching games on fox in country pubs. Next season I will send you a PM so we can organise something, cheers.
  3. Im in Cronulla mate, moved from Melbourne four years ago for work. Been in the shire for two of them. When the Dees play up next year we should organise something if your keen? I only made it to about 4 games in Melbourne this year.
  4. I thought the key to Roos recycling players was he was getting them on the cheap.
  5. Unless it's changed it's all week, they were talking about shortening it to 3-4 days because clubs would be locked in a stalemate on a trade and sometimes a trade could be holding up other potential trades sometimes leaving players in limbo.
  6. Thanks for those dates mate. I say to myself every year I will just jump on at the end of each day to see which deals were actually done but I still find myself constantly checking..... for anything.
  7. So there's two of us in Sydney? Nice to know I'm not alone.
  8. Shaw is not worth a top ten pick. Pies are keen to offload him, frees up cap space and removes what they consider to be a distraction. Clubs should play hardball with them. If pick 2 goes to the pies it's only because Beams is coming to us.
  9. Fair call, I just can't stand Richmond. I was comparing our lists because while we are a fair way off the top four and North I honestly believe with the possible injection on experienced midfielders and the new coaching panel we can gain some rapid ground on the other clubs. I don't buy into this cap that clubs take 2-3 years to learn a game plan. It may take longer than a year to perfect it but players as juniors get a new coach every year in most cases plus their rep coaches. Richmond have a knack of beating hawthorn in recent years but are left flat footed by lesser opponents.
  10. I think Richmond will slide out of the eight next year, I think the crows and eagles will regain some of their 2012 form and North Melbourne are montys for the eight next year. I honestly think a forward line of Clark, Dawes and Watts(Hogan hasn't played yet) is better than Riowoldt(constantly missing in big games), Vickery and Edwards. I would also back our back three against Rance, Newman and ????. Clearly they have a better midfield , things may be evened up a bit in coming weeks. I can't bring myself to rate Richmond.
  11. What is Roo's gameplan? I hope he's bloody got a new one for our team.
  12. This time next week will be a lot clearer for everyone.
  13. I don't think it's unfortunate at all, for me there's a big difference between Rivers exploring his options last year and Col this year. I hope he is offered a modest contract and if he chooses to leave so be it.
  14. If it's true about Rockcliff then yes I would do it before anyone realised what had just happened.
  15. So Daisy is a medical away from joining Carlton. Will Carlton give their first pick for him ? Will this be a stand off between two arrogant f##ks and hold up the Adams trade. How much do we think Daisy was getting, surely we can offer more.
  16. It was looking alright until I read who was in the forward pockets.
  17. Crameri has been their leading goal kicker the past thee seasons so him leaving hurts them. Sucked in Bombers.
  18. Gain Goddard on 700k + for four years only to force Crameri out the next. I think it's working fine, clubs can't afford to keep everyone. Pies will loose one of Daisy or Shaw, the good news for everyone else is they would rather keep Daisy but Shaw is still contracted for two years. Either do what Geelong has done or loose players. I suppose Cloke would still be laughing.
  19. Not fussed if he goes , chronic under achiever. Coaches and lack of midfield support aren't to blame, his attitude is. Yes I'm prepared for him to go and when he has a game and kicks three(against weak opposition) I won't curse the club for not trying harder to keep him. If he goes on top of Davey we should have an unmatchable offer for Adams.
  20. If Shaw stays it should help us, as mentioned before offer him big coin. Pies and tigers can't have to much money to play with.
  21. From what you've seen would say Kelky is inside/outside or both. Cheers mate.
