    Hence the meeting during the week Involving all players, player managers, parents ect. Not the first they have had. A player revolt is on the cards. McVeigh might take up occupancy under Hirds desk because he has known him for so long but first and second year players will and should be feeling betrayed. As you said the trust is gone. Hird is a grub, you've been caught, time to come clean.

    Today's game was sloppy in parts, everyone had written Carlton off but they all had a crack and won. Rivers was the biggest loss from the names mentioned but can't blame him for going. Allowing for his age and the fact Tom M is going alright were sitting alright with him Garland and Chip down back. Besides mids our biggest problem is mindset, with the exception of the NT, all our interstate games are lost before we run out. The new coach will address this and hopefully player retention won't become an issue.

    He is an ordinary journalist at best. Don't read the HS much as I'm up in Sydney but listening to him on SEN he doesn't tell me anything I don't already know in terms of footy. I know he loves the Bombers but I expect more from a supposed chief football writer.

    Besides Yarrans pace he doesn't offer a lot. His kicking is ordinary. If Watts does ask to be traded Yarran may be offered up if Carlton is his preferred club. Going to be an interesting trade period.

    So far we've discussed Eade built Roos list, and Lyon was the brains behind the Roos gameplan. Now we want to give him1.5 a year , what assistants can we afford after that? Stuff Roos, you could get Choco for half that and afford to chase some good assistants.

    Exactly,the AFL including its supporters are in their own bubble. Lance Armstrong is a bigger name in sport than ESSENDON ever will be. WADA don't care if our 18 team draw is affected.

    Fair question, the way I read it was the Crows rang us asking for pick 2, we initially asked for Crouch. Obviously they want James Aisch. They have recently lost Davis and Tippet which hurt them.

    No evidence being in the form of 'no one kept records' absolute crap. Since these important documents were conveniently shredded we must assume all players took it. This rubbish about ASADA said this and WADA said something else is crap, if you are unsure you check.

    Stuff Roos, at a guess he is not interested. Choco just moved back to Melbourne as has done just as much as Roos. I want a coach not just a motivator.

    While I sometimes think the same we should have plenty of money to throw around. Davey is 500k for starters.

    I like it. Watts for Swallow, pick 2 and Sylvia for Sloane. Crows get 2 years out if Col while they get their hometown boy from the draft.
