Delistings/trades at end of the season
When did the Hogan rumour start? Or is it just ongoing?

Delistings/trades at end of the season
From what little I watched of the game yesterday Grimes was ball watching rather than going in to win it. Yes, I know he wasn't alone.

Tmac takes a lot of marks from opposition kicks as being a good reader of the play and gets to contests to spoil effectively. When he marks there should be someone sprinting past for a handball receive.

More depth? We don't have any to start with. We don't even have 22 players up to AFL standard. The honest but scary truth.

We don't need both Howe and Garland. If Howe stays, great, Garland can go.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Youre right, Newton, Riley and Michie have disappointed but at least we tried. Last week we ran out with Grimes/Michie/Jones, were we effectively 3 men down? A true sign that this club has turned the corner will be if it offloads Toumpas at the end of the year. We employed McCartney to develop players and in conjunction with Goodwin make the tough calls on players. If Toumpas doesn't possess the basics now move him on before it's too late. No more Grimes's disposal is coming good after 6 years only to butcher it again the following week. The Hawks are playing a kid by the name of Daniel Howe over the weekend. He's getting a game over Hartung, Litherland, Schoenmakers and others. They don't wait until they're playing the Brisbane Lions, they are playing him against an inform Geelong. I hope he's not sub. They are going to see if he can perform against quality. I would much rather offload as much dead wood as we can and bring in another batch of players in the hope we unearth someone or find the next VB. There's enough spots on the list to justify one or two a year, on two year contracts. Keep rotating them through, offer them minimum contracts.

Gawn and a mid definitely priority over Howe and Garland. Would rather keep Howe but not for the money that's been reported(yes it's probably crap) by other clubs.Where is Frost going to play?

Article on AFL website about Hampton from GWS. I hope we don't chase him. He has pace and can be elusive as we weaves his way through congestion but his disposal from what I've seen is a disgrace, it's that bad. Wayward up and under kicks into the fwd line, kicks missing their target by 1-2 metres(he might fit right in). We can't afford any more players that can't dispose of the footy.

If the end of year chat doesn't go well with the coach he may ask to be traded. Who would take him and why?

Would be great but what odds are you giving?

Just throwing this up. Swans have too many mids in the same mould and need some new blood in defense. Would they be interested in Fitzy??

When I was referring to the environment I meant the club. Collingwood spend millions in their football department and have invested heavily in Cloke most recently hiring a sports psychologist. We've all seen the results. You can either kick or you can't.

Who said anything about us as a club, it's every where you turn. Doctors, lawyers, bus drivers, construction workers, hairdressers the bloke the next door who has a 9-5 job could well be a dealer. Drugs are everywhere, the individual must choose. I'm not across the AFL drug policy but surely the revamped one will have(if not already) the right for clubs to test their own players. Couple that with basic knowledge, drugs like ice/speed/cocaine will generally last in your system 2-3 days. I'd be testing Friday and Monday mornings If I wanted to catch someone. The culture could be cleaned up easily. The AFL also needs to grow some balls. Clean slate and 1 strike and your out.

The "drug culture" is out there, everywhere,it's up to the individual....

Can we add Grimes into that deal with Howe. Apperently the Suns are void of leadership.

Well it is what it is. The last two trade/draft periods have been favourable for us for obvious reasons. We can assume that realistic contracts have matched those list management decisions.
