Petracca is 7th, you can tell by the hair.

I don't think he's done with yet. Interesting to see how he fares in the intraclub/pre season. He can play, keep applying the pressure....

Anyone got the tackle he put on the grub? -
Yes and no, I still look at other clubs and compare comparative talent and wonder where our money goes. It will be interesting as the majority of our talent is 24 years of age or younger. (Gawn just turned 25).

That bloody tackle that did Bruce's shoulder. He was on fire in those first few rounds. -
Northern lights? (Only stoners or ex stoners will get it)

I want Petracca to explode. Salem in now ready to show us what he's got. Watts must maintain the rage, even take it up another notch.

I know this is about forward lines but while we're on St.Kilda they too play with (most of the time) a sense of urgency more often than not. I struggle to understand why clubs including ours haven't worked it out yet. Hopefully this year is different. -
2017 Finals Here we come....
Bombay Airconditioning replied to Sir Why You Little's topic in Melbourne Demons
It was the first year of teams winning a qualifying final having two weeks off so it's to early to make anything of it. Geelong for mine were never going to beat Sydney regardless of what week it was and GWS got cocky and blew it. -

The arrogance of other teams and Stevie J helped the dogs. -

Agree that the dogs aren't the most talented, but they currently have the best mindset of any team and are unrelenting in their pressure acts. Their attack on the ball/ball carrier was impressive and they hunted in packs. Last year they mastered the opportunist goal. -

Yes I rate Jetta but as previously discussed in other threads it wouldn't surprise me if he's out of the best 22 by years end. -

What precedent did the dogs set? I would of thought the Hawks set the precedent and won 2014/15 after losing Franklin. How would we be if we lost Hogan? Also for me the comparison to the dogs remind me how mentally weak we are as a side. How many times last year did the club (players) roll out the "we didn't come to play" line? We need to stop being the club that needs to follow another clubs lead and start writing our own history. -
And "can cook"..... She goes alright.

Is Frost ahead of Oscar if we're only playing the two talls? -
Agree, if I'm paying upwards of 800k and losing young talent I would be wanting the Bont in return.

Jordan Lewis may be considered too old to fall into the saviour category but he is still a gun and a natural leader (round 22 showed us again how easily our senior players can go missing). As many have already eluded to the fact of what a club has to give up in order to land a "saviour" we have the next best thing. My favourite thing about Lewis is his mental application and from that spawn many qualities a successful footballer needs.
-
Fyfe and Danger possess some superstar qualities but kicking for goal isn't one of them. This game over the years has witnessed so many "saviours" that excel in so many areas of the game except for the one that arguably counts the most.

Went to my girlfriend's place yesterday afternoon, during the exchanging of presents I unwrapped a copy of "The big book of AFL", I was instructed to turn to the section about the MFC, in which I found return flights from Sydney to Melbourne for the round 2 game which is our first home game against Carlton. I already have flights booked for the QB weekend. This means a minimum of 3 trips from the bunker to the G this year as we will be playing finals. Cant bloody wait.
