  1. Port Adelaide injury list as of Tuesday. Ryder - Test. Broadbent - Test. As of today. Nil, assuming Ryder plays.
  2. Lucky Hannan. Which is the other lucky player that replaces the out of form Hogan?
  3. We can't expect an immediate impact from all of them if indeed they all return, but at least it will free up the likes of Trac, Hannan, Harmes and co. It gives us some kind of structure back.
  4. Sam McClure tweeted a short time ago that the club is giving Jeffy all the time he needs to deal with a death in the family. Sad news, wish you well Jeffy!
  5. Thrown under the bus? I'm now concerned about Bugg!
  6. Yes he leads. He got burnt multiple times on Saturday night. The kicks to him were constantly high and I noticed Jesse several times after we bombed it point to the kicker and say he wanted it in front of him and to lower their eyes.
  7. Yep, the kid has received criticism on this thread, changes v Port thread and post match thread. It's relentless!
  8. Unbeliavable! Inconclusive video evidence? The cameras can catch you pulling out a $50 from your wallet in the hot dog stand but there's no further vision of Dusty....
  9. I'm hoping it's us that does the slaughtering.
  10. Martin and Riewoldt are protected species!!!
  11. Now that I have slept on it a tad, I've come to realise last night wasn't as bad as it looked. In no way am I excusing some of the dumb kicking that was on display especially into the forward line but this has been an extremely tough 6 week patch. Injuries happen to every club but the unluckiest aspect for us is the key cogs that it's happened to and its required a major structural change. Very hard for any coach to plan for this. Midfield is now headed by a 19 year old in Oliver, Petracca had been sacrificed from where he's been excelling at all year to support Oliver and has performed admirably. Hannan and Harmes have been effective either side of the centre square and now they are asked to be ball winners. We looked most dangerous last night when we moved Hogan up the field and let Max clunk a couple in the 3rd quarter. We are most dangerous when we have the luxury to make positional changes during the game because we are so well balanced with a full compliment. Oppositions simply can not stop us when this occurs but we have reverted to worrying about the opposition too much lately. Our players are not C graders. some of them have been asked to play out of their comfort zones and it's come pretty sudden for them. The experience they will gain is invaluable. In all of this you have to find some positives and ANB has definitely surprised me. Impressed with his last month and he certainly looks a keeper. Structurally we were not much better in the Carlton game but that win could be huge come seasons end. Margin for error is diminishing by the minute but on the other hand we have a lot of upside of getting back to our best.
  12. Probably a good decision to hold them back and I agree with you on Watts. His footskills and lowering of the eyes were much needed.
  13. Best we move on quickly. I feel a little better now after listening to Goodwin after match. Watts and Tyson will play next week, both could have played tonight apparently. Viney ran well today and is a strong chance next week. Hope it helps.
  14. I thought Hogan grew in confidence as the game went on. He gets manhandled more than any other forward, umpires rarely notice, I'm not excusing his miss from 10 metres out but the amount of times he got burnt tonight by his teammates was a joke.
  15. FMD, scared of getting sick are we? Lynch on his own all night!!!
  16. I've seen Hogan make numerous leads where he's been clear of his opponent by at least 10 metres and often they ignored him. What do you want the guy to do when the ball gets kicked 30 metres over his head?
  17. Did anyone else notice Paddy Ryder with his ankle heavily iced on the bench in the final minutes?
  18. Could not care less about either team but can someone tell me why Isaac Smith played on at the end?
  19. That's what I thought, like a shot duck. Its now becoming comical, he's clearly hurt and they keep playing him. He's constantly limping and in obvious discomfort.
  20. Lol, false alarm! He's running the boundary.
  21. Dangerfield hurt, very similar to Cripps.
  22. Also missed the comment, must have been said whilst flicking channels and getting NRL scores but just like the title of this thread , everything NON MFC is just that! NO WAY IN HELL!!!!!
