  1. The last quarter was one of the worst I have seen by us. I'm not going to sit here and stress anymore when they put up a quarter like that, I rarely bag the team but goodness me. They need to wear this one and I hope it stings cause I'm over feeling crook in the guts. These cliches " We are not focusing on finals" and " the hoodoo against North doesn't get mentioned", maybe it's time to start talking and actually doing something about it.
  2. We are playing Trengove on their fastest player in Attley.
  3. Our most important quarter of the season coming up!!!
  4. Sorry, meant to say if it's going to be wet like predicted, Trengove, in my opinion, can't cover the ground as quickly as JKH and if it's a scrap, a yard or two can make a big difference. JKH is no mug when it comes to hardness either, he's tackling is actually strong.
  5. Unlucky, but I can see this happening if Maynard is in. The weather might work against Jack.
  6. Page 3 on " The Don's Delusion!!!" thread.
  7. Jetta OK to play, Gawn likely http://m.melbournefc.com.au/news/2017-07-25/jetta-ok-to-play-gawn-likely.mobileapp
  8. Yep, now I'm going back to listen to the rest of the report, Jetta was first up.
  9. From Misson. " He will be ok.... yeah he'll be fine, he will train Thursday and be right to go." Breathing easier now.
  10. I enjoyed the second half especially the last quarter where we basically kept them in their back half after their two early goals. Our zone worked perfectly with Lewis setting up as the general at half back. Two contrasting halves but brilliant to watch in my eyes, these styles can take you a long way to success.
  11. It would be nice to see a first quarter blitz by us at some stage but at the same time it's a sign how far we have come as a team to still be a winning chance in most games we have played this season. My main concern this week is the wind that usually blows towards the right of screen goals down at Blundstone. I don't want to be 6-7 goals down by quarter time if we are against the wind.
  12. Was curious as to why ANB came in over the top and pushed Powell-Pepper off Hunt and after looking at it closer, Powell-Pepper actually drops the forearm to the head of Hunt and keeps it there.
  13. Maybe the club has an estimate also. I usually look on the MCG site where it lists upcoming games with the estimation. On a side note, the site predicts 53,000 for the Hawks v Swans and 36,000 for Pies v Crows.
  14. I thought it was the MCG that provides the estimate for attendance, not the club.
  15. There's a lot of pages to scroll through and apologies if it's been mentioned already but that was our best 1st quarter of the season. 4 goals 4 behinds. Wow.
  16. He nailed Watts in the back of the head when Watts was on the ground face down. That could have caused some serious damage yet Richmond and the media in the week that followed said it was out of character and everyone believed it and moved on, except us. This season, our acts are classed as undisciplined and thuggish. I can't stand Rance and I absolutely loved it when Viney flipped him on his backside after going in to bat for Wattsy.
  17. Spot on Abe! I sat behind the Punt Rd goals and that is exactly what I saw from Lewis. Leadership at its finest in the last quarter, hence the reason the game was played in our front half for the majority.
  18. Just arrived at the G, a mate ran into Ben Matthews and was told Viney a certain starter. In saying that, Pedders was just out there warming up for a few minutes.
  19. With 3 Jacks coming in you would go a long way to winning.
  20. I'm more upset he picked Naitanui over himself!
