I think he might be the reason we got one.

Thanks for mentioning “The Fall”. Into season 2 and thoroughly enjoying it.

Two players putting in the hard yards during the off season, fantastic to see. Hopefully it pays dividends for young Dion.
-
Trying to do the math from the article and it seems we have a Saturday game in round 4. We get a decent break going into the Anzac Eve clash but it will be interesting to see our player management heading into the Dons game on such a short turnaround.
-
Totally with you on this. Max was good in his first game back against West Coast and was just about the only bloke trying to get us back into the game against GWS in Canberra. Wouldn't label him pathetic, as the good Dr suggests.

Port the big winners in Trade Week?

Over to you Mr Watts. -
Comments by PJ on Watts and Lever have basically been covered by many posters here. It was interesting to hear we might be looking for new HQ around the CBD and sounds like we might have a home game round 1 against a Victorian club.

I asked a fellow Dee at work the other day what he thought of the Watts trade. He responded by calling all supporters mushrooms. I asked "huh?" He responds " You know, kept in the dark and fed crap!" So true.

Thought it was a productive post-Morton.

Thank you for stating the obvious and feel free to invite the recruiters on here to post their plans. Any info posted by fellow demonlanders on the TAC cup and the youngsters hoping for an AFL career is greatly appreciated for people like myself that aren't familiar with the system. There is a simple solution for you though if you don't want to read about it.

I think GC just had to bite the bullet on that one in my opinion. Dont get me wrong, they are possibly giving up one of the best 18 year olds in the country but do they really lose out? They've been bitten on the backside with some of their high picks for one reason or another and that club seems in serious trouble and when a 21 year old contracted player with a bright future requests a trade to their club i just think their FD did what it needed to do. Time will tell I guess.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BALIC

Lol, in that clip he certainly did. Not a bad goal either against us, just trying to determine if it was his nifty footwork or the magnificent attempt to tackle him that created that goal. -
Messendon Solution Centre.

Could be as simple as that. He alluded to the fact that Schache started to turn his body while attacking marking contests, could simply be a subconscious issue as he put it. That can clearly be worked on but I haven't seen anywhere near enough of him to say yes or no if he would be a good fit for us. He also compared him to Curnow, same amount of games played and Curnow has shown more.

Stopped yourself short mate? The Dr certainly enlightens us with his repeated comment.

I'm taking a guess and I'd say for some today is their favourite Watts moment.

Mick Mcguane was on SEN a short time ago and gave an insight on Schache. Not sure how to put the link up but he basically stated teams should stay away from him. Mentioned how some young talls find it difficult to transition form U18 level into the AFL early in their careers due to some rules/system the U18 competition has in place for key forwards inside 50. They have a lot more room to work with and can dominate one on one when they are physically stronger than their opponents but they don't have that luxury in the AFL. Also mentioned in his second game of AFL he took 5 contested marks and yet this season he only took 2 in his ten games. He thinks something is amiss with Schache at this stage.

Nice! I literally choked eating my Coco Pops.

Is Smith purely a defender? If so, like stated above how can he fit in the back 6? I don't anything about his junior days, could he play forward? He can jump and attack a contest.
-
Not a bad team at all, it makes me wonder what kind of money their top half dozen are on when they can fit Rockliff and Motlop in there.

What happened the following year in the draft?
