I noticed on the replay Trac pointing Spargo out and acknowledging he was responsible for two goals in the 3rd. The one Trac kicked himself and the T Mac roving and running one from about 40 out. Both times Spargo competed in the air and brought it to ground. Charles is having a ripper season.

How good is this?? 11-1 with a 1 point average losing margin and we can now drive up to 10kms away from home with a scarf out of every window.

On Hunt Dee f, it’s hard to see certain players roles on the TV, possessions wise he didn’t light up the stat sheet against the Dogs but every time he was visible on screen especially when the Dogs went forward he busted his chops running back to man up their wingers dropping into our attacking 50. At different times he was taking Lipinski, B Smith, Hunter and even took Weightman and fair to say all 4 hardly impacted the game that night. Would love to hear from the supporters that attended the game last night on how they saw Hunt. We all like seeing him run and attack but that won’t always happen due to the game being played a certain way, his main objective is to defend and from the games I’ve seen live this year I think he’s been very good at that aspect.

Teams try to get the KO in the first few rounds against us, but we are willing to go 15 rounds and win on points. I’d love to give a team 6 quarters to try and knock us off. The air just smells different.

Cool cool cool? AFL scheduled us as the home team this season because we missed out on QB last year and Anzac Eve. Simply pointing out you’re incorrect about the Pies missing out on the gate in 2020. Just like you pointing out that people are making themselves look silly on here when posting about COVID.

I’m certain we lost out on QB as the home team last year, Pies were the home team in 2019.

Sounds like my family’s idea of hanging the scarf out of the car window and doing 5km loops around my house all day was much better than the football action today.

Purely a guess mono. Last time I saw him involved in a play was around 13mins to go in the last. Attacked a contest near our defensive goal square and looked like a Bulldog arm might have struck him accidentally. He stayed down for a few seconds. Didn’t see him for the rest of the game and they panned to our bench a couple of times and we only had 3 on there until Langdon reappeared with a couple of mins to go.

There’s definitely a different vibe to this team Clint. The over-celebrating after goals has been missing all year after goals and even after games. It’s all about focusing on the next play with the boys it seems as they now realise how hard it is to be successful and boy are they working their backsides off. We cover the G so well defensively and I put it down to fantastic coaching last night on a skinnier Marvel. We absolutely bamboozled the Dogs defensively, forcing them to attempt pin-point passes across the ground resulting in costly turnovers.

My ‘little’ highlight of the night was Jackson reading and roving his opponent’s hit-out in the centre during the third quarter. Wasn’t his best game but that effort was almost taking the pizz.

Fantastic team effort. Tomlinson was a big loss and good to see the trust in Petty by the backs and some nice synergy building. Our usual suspects were at it again but massive games by Gus, Harmes, ANB and Rivers. Really liked their games.
