I recall back In round one 1 when Jones said “[censored] happens” I was with him. We were gonna start a bit slow But we are a good enough side to wear a few losses at the start of the season and be on fire at the end. Instead, “[censored] happens” became this seasons mantra. Where to start? I can’t remember a pre season and season mismanaged so poorly. The surgeries, the haphazard appointment of Pert, Steven May, the lack of game plan, the lazy drafting, continuing to rush players in an under done, horrible list management. It was like the club on every level just thought it was going to happen. The most disappointing part of all is once the nail was finally in the coffin and we were no longer mathematically a chance for finals, the way this group of players gave up showed a complete lack of respect for themselves, the jumper and supporters. There’s no way this group will win a flag, that’s for sure. Even our wins sucked. Beating Gold Coast by a rushed behind with 3 seconds left? That’s were we are at. I feel sorry for Gawn. That’s all. Thanks for nothing Dee’s.
