That is just terrible salary cap management!!
-
What, no draft concessions or priority picks for Gold Coast? That seems a little unusual by the AFL.

As weird as seeing clips of early Nate Jones with hair!!

I ordered one of ours for my daughters birthday yesterday, along with the number 2 to go on it. Was only limited sizes available so I miss out unfortunately. I think it is a great jumper. (Didn't see those scarves on the website though)

It looks like Joeboy has been copied by foxsports with their every team summed up in 3 words. Hope you get royalties. P.s always love this to thread to see how people differ on players. Please keep it up.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
Left Foot Snap replied to Lord Nev's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think he moves pretty well for a 19 yo in the forward line. Got himself in some dangerous spots on the weekend and if he clunked a few of his marks early close to goal would likely have kicked a few. Still created a contest, wasn't easily outmarked. I think he will be a beaut in the forwardline and will keep getting better as he learns and matures. He will also become an excellent ruck. -
Christian Petracca declares his loyalty (2018)
Left Foot Snap replied to Demons11's topic in Melbourne Demons
That was a no win situation for Trac. He was in a set up. He knew it going in and no doubt so did the club and his manager. He stayed to script. He was no more nervous or unconvincing in his responses to last time he was on the show. Will get better but a long way to go as a media performer. I don't know what people expect from him. He hasn't knocked back an offer from the club or anything like that. -

Not sure we we really wanted to keep Hogan though. -
I am looking forward to his 16 vs Hawthorn then!!!

Fact triumphs over ageing memory once again. "Melbourne's Brownlow Medal favourite Cameron Bruce could be sidelined for up to six weeks after suffering a shoulder injury in his side's 47-point loss to St Kilda at Docklands yesterday. Bruce injured his AC joint in the opening minute of play when he was tackled by St Kilda's Brent Guerra," I do remember it correctly as a sad day though. Kudos to those who were correct.

Are you sure? I also thought it was a collarbone against Hawthorn.

Clayton Oliver Contract negotiations
Left Foot Snap replied to picket fence's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think North are a big concern. Can offer a ridiculous can't refuse contract and will most likely have first pick in the PSD to give them leverage in trade negotiations. Would have to be a hell of an offer though. -
When I see these sorts of threads I have flash backs to Milton the Monster. When the stiring's done can I lick the spoon?

"Adding Adam Treloar has given the Doggies another gear, he was huge in the midfield in the last quarter. Collingwood should feel proud of this victory, considering they contributed financially to it". Absolute gold from Titus, spat out beer through my nose. Certainly deserves another....

I thought Geelong were also gifted decisions after Brisbane hit the front, that got them back into it. Ridiculous and if Brisbane was us I would be more than livid.
-
Thought he played a game in 2019.
-
Are we back to all teams being named on thur nights this year?
-
Still might, be he has already had his debut.

Question? Would the concussion sub coming on count as an AFL game? For example, if Jones was the concussion sub would that get him closer to 300?
-
I would assume the sub could only be activated after a player has failed the concussion test with a Dr ruling them out. Wouldn't be an immediate sub and they would have to go through the protocols.
-
Concussion sub seems like a no brainer to me. **no pun intended.

We don't see Rivers as young anymore? I know he plays more mature than his years, but he is still a kid just starting his second year. Very promising.
