Thanks @John Demonic it’s posts like yours that help make Demonland just that little bit different.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
TRIGON replied to Dee tention's topic in Melbourne Demons
Think Talia was the 'no-brainer' pick here. Sadly, our recruiter at the time... -
With Preuss unavailable, would like to have seen Keilty debut; see if he could have made an impact as. Forward/Ruck.
-
Freo, remember them last trade season? Early 2nd round pick to them; which is not meant to be a knock on Ed Langon.

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
TRIGON replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Should he retire now does that open up another spot in the mini-draft? -
Good point you make, unless I’m mistaken (can happen) they haven’t used a first round pick since 2015.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
TRIGON replied to Wiseblood's topic in Melbourne Demons
I believe you live in East Melbourne; any chance we can hollow-out your basement? -
Won't someone think of the children? (seriously)

As much as this season is tragic, I agree with your optimism. The nucleus of a really strong side is there. -
Out of breath just reading it.

As much as many fans are upset with our forward and backline's performance, I still think our priority should be to up-skill our mids in order to provide both better delivery and 2-way running. So yes, go hard on Coniglio. Should we have pick 1 (shudder) then by all means draft Rowell and offer 2nd round draft pick for Ed Langdon (can't see 3rd round getting it done).
-
I am concerned that he will become one of the star forwards in the competition; with another club.
-
Well, should you be still on Essendon’s payroll then that would be correct.
-
On a more serious note; kudos to Hardwick for a developing a system of play that players can understand and have confidence in. Tonight fielding the 5 youngest players on the park and they didn’t miss a beat.

You’re all panic merchants. Goodwin is a smart guy. The season is going to be okay. Any criticism is just twaddle.

Sounds like a lot of congestion. Make them the forward line coach.

If anything this diet should make Viney even more savage a beast. My wife tried putting me on it. I went from suicidal, to homicidal and was progressing towards genocidal before calling time on the approach.

Well, I’m thinking 100 points. So maybe...

...wonder what’s wrong with Richmond.
-
So, we’re we’ll set-up for this then.

Extreme measure; would solve complacency issues though.

Revamp more than rebuild. There is plenty of talent on the list. Will need to trade and/or draft some outside run and polish though.

TRIGON replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Whilst I was never a fan of appointing a documented gambling addict straight out of the most toxic football department to ever disgrace the game, I do rate his ability to connect with players as one of his strong suits; shouldn’t impact on match selection decisions though. -

☝️And some posters keep insisting that Goodwin is a smart guy and will work it out. Yet week after week Goodwin and the Match Committee ‘brains trust’ - a double oxymoron - lose the game for us before it’s even started. -
Which Smith are you referring to?
