LJ had a close relationship with the then player welfare manager. Neeld ousted the player welfare manager. For LJ, things went south quickly afterwards. However, I’m not sure to what degree, if any, there was cause and effect.

And to get things back on track, even in the warm up T.Macs gait looked hampered. Not seeing much mobility from him during games. If he’s not right then why play him?

Very impressed with Lockhart’s game. Really developing well. Like that he can play small forward and small back - could fill the void that’s created when Nev eventually retires.

Really pleased that he’s re-signed. Looking forward to seeing some good footy from him over the next couple of years and beyond.
