I generally tend to agree with McCartney's assessment; especially on 2018 form. In 2019 Spargo had a loss of form and seemed to start second-guessing himself and he became tentative (amateur psycho-analysis at 150 metres). Dave, let it go. The info coming back to me from sources in the industry support what @drysdale demon and @dazzledavey36 are getting at - it's highly unlikely and probably very unwise for Paddy McCartin to attempt a comeback.

The way I see it the more things change the more they stay the same. You need 2 KPFs as a marking threat to draw opposition defenders: it makes space for the medium and small forwards to operate in more effectively. they may even mark it!
