I see him as talented, but for whatever reason drifts in and out of games. At 26, will he click and go to a new level? Or is this it? Tricky one for the football department and what would the Dogs offer us? Currently holding picks 13,38 and 49.

Am astonished that @Bitter but optimistic hasn't weighed in on this topic yet.

Re T.Mac out and Brown in. What's Brown like when the ball's below his knees? How are his knees?
-
Maybe, just maybe you could change the commentators vernacular. However, there are those amongst them who would still insist that the ball was 'chiselled' to him. ?
-
Agreed, unless they offer a half-decent player in return.

1-year contract and I'd be interested.

2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
TRIGON replied to TRIGON's topic in Melbourne Demons
Thanks @spirit of norm smith, Beyond that, I'm interested in any insights into the quality and depth of the 2021 draft. Can add into the equation the RFA and pre-RFA's that may become part of the picture - is it worth building a bank of picks so that we're positioned to be major players? -
With this year's draft being compromised by: 1. Academies 2. Father-Sons, and 3. Disruptions to competitions What does next year's crop look like? Is it enticing enough to warrant the likes of Preuss, ANB, Macs O&T, Bedford being traded for future picks?
-
On the optimistic side, you'd hope that next year's pick was somewhere between 30 and 36 ?. Going with the 'Sunshine & Lollypops' scenario, the next questions to ask are: What does next year's draft crop look like compared to this year's? Where will our current 2nd round pick slide to in this year's compromised draft?
-
Okay, but curious as to why, considering the compromised nature of this year's draft, you'd offer next year's pick instead of this year's?
-
Seeing what looks like grey hair...contract worries?

Arrogance of their supporter base Fuelled by the AFL's biased treatment towards them across the doping scandal Large supporter base. The irony of point 3 being that most Melbourne clubs have a large supporter base when things are going well. We dominated the % of crowd support during the finals played at the MCG in 2018.
-
Not seen him play. Did get some praise in some of the Magoos reviews this year . No idea if that counts for much.
-
If those rumours were true then it looks like the Bombers have royally stuffed it up.
-
I do share that concern. Talented players don't want to squander their career on a no-hoper.
-
Word on the street is they're changing the name of their training facility from The Hanger to The Hurt Locker
-
The rumour mills (reliable or not) suggest that the suitors are GWS, Sydney, Hawthorn Their respective currency in terms of trade picks stands as: GWS: 28 46 66 SYD: 3 22 54 56 HAW: 4 21 41 43 59 67 What permutations, including player trades, would you consider fair value?
-
On a more serious note, re dealing with Hawthorn, would the following be in the ballpark? Pruess for pick 43 and a swap of the remaining 2nd and 3rd round picks to sweeten the deal for us. We get: Pick 43 Pick 21 Pick 41 Give up: Preuss Pick 23 Pick 47 Obviously only considering the above if no other clubs offer a 2nd round pick.

Pick 4?
