Curious to know who put forward Mabior Chol for the Coleman.

If Chandler is intent on making the small forward role his own, he needs to do considerably more than his three touch and two tackle effort today. Lindsay and Langford will hopefully be better for the run. Both looked a bit out of depth and may all benefit with a few weeks at Casey before we rush them into the senior team. Johnson clunked a few solid marks and looks a competitor in the mould of Cam Pederson. On the plus side, Clarry and Trac both look primed for a big 2025, and Langdon was more than serviceable in the centre. Salem also looked in good nick.

This is a tad grim

Starcevich would be a good pick up if we wanted to go down that avenue. Not sure if we'd be the most appealing option considering he's from WA, but he's exactly the sort of player we're lacking in our backline.

I'd think he'd be a chance at the MSD. If not that, maybe a rookie spot at season's end.

Final dress rehearsal before round 1. I imagine we'll be fielding something close to our best 22 if Messrs Petracca, Viney, Gawn and co are all fit.

I read somewhere on Twitter/X that Roy George was very lively during the Casey match. Will be fun to watch at Casey this season

Came on in the last quarter and laid some strong tackles. Kicked a great goal as well. I think he played out the Casey match.

Really impressed with AMW today.

I remember Jay Lockhart making his debut two weeks after being signed as an SSP. He only had a pre-season with Casey if I can recall. Anything is possible.

I hope Culley sticks is out with us at Casey. I wonder if he could still be a mid-season draft possibility?

Juddy hasn't missed since he debuted and has had a pretty good track record with injuries so this really sucks. Really hope this means that AMW gets another go in the senior side. I thought he showed a lot of promise late last year.

I hope that Jed Adams comes on this year because Tomlinson was a huge part of our defensive depth. Best of luck to Tommo!

Kozzy's leaked texts don't change the fact that he's still contracted until 2027. We hold all the cards here and won't yield unless we're given fair value.

I remember him playing a fair bit of halfback around 2009-10 as a running defender. I definitely would've selected him as a forward though considering he pretty much invented the concept of forward pressure

Not bad, but a few changes I would make would be TMac over Howe, JMac over Rivers and maybe Johnstone over Salem. Hogan would also go close to dislodging Schwartz if this is considered to be post 2000 Schwartz. I imagine JVR will take that spot in a few years time anyway.

I was at Gosch's yesterday and it was the first time I've seen him up close. I was super impressed with his work ethic and just how physically ready for a first year player. He outbodied some of his senior teammates and laid some absolutely bone crunching tackles. He was easily working his way to contests and there was period of around 4-5 minutes where he was accumulating disposals at will. I wouldn't be surprised if he plays forward early in the season, but I think he'll be a gun midfielder in time.

Roy George (I think) nails a sizzling pass inside 50 to Kozzy. A nice bit of run and carry from Sestan (who's looked good today) leads to Langdon marking inside 50.
