PREGAME: Rd 1 6 vs Gold Coast
No TMac? Wow I guess Petty goes to defence with Jeffo coming in?

PREGAME: Rd 1 6 vs Gold Coast
While I agree that Windsor has been played out of position, I think his disposal has fallen off over the last month and it looks like he's struggling to run out games (hence the sub selection a couple of weeks ago). I think a few weeks at Casey will be good for him. Lever on the other hand should never have been recalled over TMac. Hopefully the latter gets his chance back on the seniors this weekend.

KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
Celebration time!

Harrison Petty
Lever was much improved yesterday. Starting to work his way back into some form. I'd rotate Petty into defence and give Disco an extended run in the forward line.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Tend to agree. While Daicos was mostly ineffectual, tagging him took out the run and carry that Langdon usually provides. Robbing Peter to pay Paul I guess.

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
May to his credit showed some flair after quarter time. Lever is playing as if he's still on one ankle. Petty is a liability in the forward line and was repeatably beaten by Caminiti (who might be one of the softer players I've seen at AFL level).

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Quite possibly a career worst game from Pickett.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
The way Petty keeps getting beaten 1-on-1 is laughable

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Typical Demons with 5-6 minutes of forward 50 play with no reward. St Kilda go coast to coast and goal from a set shot.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
137 disposals for the half for us seems characteristically low.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Better quarter from May

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Surely there's a flu or something that's gone through the club.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
I still think we find a way back into this.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
May and Lever are liabilities at the moment. They need to find form quick.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Defense in all sorts at the moment May making Keeler look like Matthew Pavlich

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
You'd think McVee gets the job on Jack Higgins today who's been a real barometer for St Kilda this season. Shutting him down will go a long way towards a win today.

PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Unless we decide to go in with an extra tall, I imagine either Laurie or Henderson will get the call up for Sunday.

Max Gawn.... A giant of a gentleman and bloody good bloke
From 'Useless AFL Stats' on Facebook Last week in Rd 11 wearing jumper 11, Max Gawn kicked 1.1 to bring his career tally to 111 goals and 111 behinds.

The Jake Melksham appreciation thread
I still maintain (alongside many other Demon fans) that we go deep into the 2023 finals series had Melksham not torn his ACL. The fact we're here, two years later, and he's in close to career best form as an almost 34 year old is nothing short of remarkable. I don't think an extension into 2026 is out of the question.

PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
I was super impressed with his debut season last year. Had a real X-factor which is something that is sorely lacking from St Kilda. From what I've seen from Casey matches this season, Jed Adams has come on quite nicely this year. He's bulked up and has gained significant confidence in his marking ability. If he doesn't play this weekend, I think he'll get a go sooner or later.

Welcome to Demonland Oliver Sestan
Only turned 21 in April so still eligible. I really like him and would love to see him in the seniors but it's going to be a tough ask with Bowey and Salem both playing well at HB.
