  1. Never take a backward step TPF39. Clarry was always the one we wanted in red and blue. Clarry. Trac. Riv. Intensity is the key. No more Grgic, Toumpas, Morton type picks.
  2. Lockhart May⭐️ Lever Hibberd Tomlinson Salem Langdon⭐️ Viney⭐️ Rivers⚡️ Harmes Weideman Melksham Fritsch BenBrown Pickett⚡️ Gawn⭐️ Petracca⭐️ Oliver⭐️ Jackson⚡️ Brayshaw Sparrow ANB emerg. Vandenburg Tmcd Hunt depth. Jones Jetta Spargo Hore Petty MitchBrown Baker JoelSmith development. Jordan Bedford Nietschke Bradtke & plus 2020 drafteesx4 (Chandler???) retired KK.
  3. I reckon Dees at least need to offer him a 4-year contract minimum through to end 2025. He is going to be worth $700k+ a year (though I’m not sure in what these guns get in the AFL marketplace)
  4. David Noble appointed Roos coach. Interesting choice and obviously highly regarded. Very experienced footy man.
  5. It was the stone throwing that raised this thread. You get some right and wrong but you are entitled to an opinion. Pollyanna had dredged up old posts that we had doubts on LJ. Other calls still spot on.
  6. Yes that works well. Good thinking and hopefully an option on the table.
  7. He’s a skilled youngster who is still only 19 (turns 20 in late December) as he was one of the youngest kids drafted in 2018. I’m not sure he fits a midfielder (we are overstocked for inside mids) so I think he could be useful as a small defender. Worth another year and perhaps try him at Casey across half back or defence.
  8. Is Bedford getting a new deal? I think another year for the youngster. Still raw and developing. I think putting him and Pickett together for a few games might be handy and create some chaos and pressure for opposition defenders.
  9. Absolute gun. Or as my son says “May is a weapon “. Steven May had a huge year and deserved the runner up position behind Trac in the MFC B&F. He should have an All Australian Full Back. Robbed. But really looking to see how he backs it up in 2021.
  10. Has this been announced? Didn’t see anything on the club website
  11. Ditto. That’s the obvious change for 2021. We need a player to shutdown the likes of Martin, Merrett, Dfield, Steele, Boak. That was missing this year. Harmes has the endurance, intensity . He can go forward in rotation.
  12. Wow. Pollyanna. Seemed to have got this one right again. @Patches O’houlihan Ooooh
  13. Pollyanna might have to note all the positive call outs made over many years on many players. Many suggested the Dees wanted Parish and so we called out for Oliver. We didn’t want the Toumpas ahead of Wines decision again.
  14. Still reckon JT’s list has in order Finlay Macrae Jack Carroll Archie Perkins Nik Cox Brayden Cook * Errol Gulden (bid) Caleb Poulter Isiah Winder Bailey Laurie Zavier Maher Eddie Ford If we can snag 3 of these ten players with our 18,19,28 , we’d have done very well. Agree that we’d be a chance to also bid on Blake Coleman or Brandon Walker if all the above were gone by pick 28. Nick Stevens I’d probably next best option.
  15. Rhyan Mansell should be in an AFL team and system in 2021. Hoping it’s with the Dees. He’s the type we want. Pace. Skill. Determination. Tackles. Has the same qualities as young Riv.
  16. Have to go back to page 1 as I kicked off the Thread. I haven’t changed my mind. Sam Fisher Jacob Wehr Rhyan Mansell I’d happily draft one of these guys if we use pick 50. also add in Angus Baker - NEAFL gun from 2019 deserves a place on an AFL list
  17. Really good points made here. And yes a bid for Coleman is not to be ruled out. It would force the Lions into consideration of keeping Coleman or Crozier. Also Gulden is a great runner and very skilled. It’s a shame that the Swans have their academy zone (a very biased draft) as Gulden would be a good get. Again JT might make them have a think.
  18. Exactly. And taken as isolated grabs. I’ve have to go back to find the ones where I say he’s possibility is high but he’s a risk. Definitely a calculated gamble. I still think LJ is a raw athlete and not a natural footballer. That hadn’t changed after his 2020. Let’s see after a few more years. I still think Eagles and Freo will be after him big time and go home factor is dangerous. I note that in many posts I called out Serong. Thanks @Pollyanna for reminding me that I wanted him drafted. I believe he won the rising star ⭐️ award. ✅.
  19. Really hope we keep our pick 50 to draft this kid. He had what it takes and would fit into our team immediately. Pace and skill. That’s what this draft is all about for the Dees.
  20. Interesting. Really hoping for Jack Carroll. Sounds more likely that we could get like a “18/19” Brayden Cook, Zavier Maher, then perhaps even “28” Isiah Winder or Eddie Ford. That’s a good outcome.
  21. Surely the Cats will call Lewis Jetta. Fits their age profile.
  22. Lockhart. Hard at the footy. Has the skills. Just needs the composure and we’ll have a very very good BP
  23. Drafting Lewis Jetta 2008 was the year but our saviour Barry Prendergast had no farrrrrrken idea
  24. Was this in a likely draft pick order? They had Eddie Ford down the pecking order. ?????
