Hibberd Signs On for 2022
Wow. Though Iโm sure guys like Joel Smith, Hunt, Melksham, Tomlinson (and Jordon) will be desperate to get back in the team and take their chance to experience a premiership. Having competition for spots makes us even stronger.

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
Interested to see how JVR performed at the combine. He had a great year and definitely in the mix for our โpick 17โ.

Welcome to Demonland - Pick 17
Heโs the clone of Allir Allir in style of style and physical capabilities. A year or two in the gym will mean heโs able to match up on big forwards. Perfectly suited to a future CHB role. He smashed the vertical leap record at the combine and perhaps could play round 1 2022 with a big preseason. A serious talent. Not sure heโs on the Dees list but you never know.

Hibberd Signs On for 2022
Iโd like to see Hibbo go around for one more year. His lockdown role was a part of our excellent back 6. But understand heโs had a lot to deal with in life and might decide the premiership year is his last AFL season.

Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
Agreed. I think we will pick him up after our initial two picks. He is the type of youngster Goody would love in the program. Definitely get him into the Choco development group and we have time to get him ready.

2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Matt Roberts reminds me of Dyson Heppell. Heโs a midfielder but also an all rounder type. Certainly talented and wouldnโt be a poor choice. I thought Power would be his new home given they need to restock their midfield. Not sure heโs what MFC would pick but given heโs been top 10 quality, if he was a slider then JT would have to consider. I think we may hope for a Goater, Sinn or Sonsie if they slide through. I think all will be gone imv and would be looking at Chesser or Wilmot for outside run and pace across wing/half back.

Delisted Free Agents
Dees have certainly moved on from the days where we would try to turn rocks into diamonds. Happy days. Still not hearing anything or interest in Vanders. Heโs a quality bloke who has suffered from injuries. Pace was never his go but he looked really slow in the games this year. His physical work is excellent but clubs seem to be reasonably stocked for similar types and heโd be a risk. He will be 30 at the start of next year and list spots are tight. Footy is a cruel beast. Hope he finds a home even in the next level down and remains a Demons man. Aaron โvan den Bergโ. The Dutch meaning Man from the Mountain.

The Deakin Pereira Thread
He looks a talent. Rebounds. Shoots. Drives. Good luck to the young man.

eth-dog's 2021 Phantom
Very good phantom. Dees likely to use only 3 picks. Drafting two key position forwards is highly unlikely. Corey Warner at 50+ would be a steal. Where is Isaac Birt?

Premiership Tales
Unbelievable. Thatโs the only way to describe it. And we will REMEMBER it and tell stories to our grand kids !!!!

2021 Player Reviews: #5 Christian Petracca
Clearly Trac has now been elevated to an elite player. He has the on field and off field qualities to take our footy club into the stratosphere in the next few years. TRAC IS A โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
Iโm updating this post. Itโs still Petracca and then the galaxy to McCartin. Dees getting Petracca was an absolute steal and a blessing. He needed a star and he has delivered. Canโt wait to see him continue to become an elite footballer. One of our MFC very best.

2021 Player Reviews: #8 Jake Lever
Lots of experts and media commentators bagged the trading in of Lever and May. They sighted Ben King as a future champion, given as part of the Hogan-May deal. Well โฆ we got a premiership and Lever and May were key parts of the year and in the GF. Whoโs laughing now ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐๐ Jake Lever had a sensational year. Turned into a defensive weapon. Deserved All Australian. Future captain perhaps.

I love the new Premiers range at MFC shop online. I am addicted to this premiership merch. Iโm getting a cap, hoodie and t-shirt. My kids all want a tshirt each. BANG BANG BANG BANG !! 49 years as a Dees fanatic. I have to indulge!!!

Charlie Constable
Yes itโs a bizarre decision by the Cats but they havenโt developed him so their loss. He should get an AFL lifeline but cannot be guaranteed due to tight list spots. If we didnโt grab Dunstan, then he might have been in a conversation. But heโs not required by the Dees. Ideally probably should go to the filthy Pies on the rebuild.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND: KYE DECLASE
Yes echo your thoughts. But given tighter list numbers, he is most likely to be delisted. Disappointing as he looked very good and had AFL ready skills and strength.
