Umps got it wrong - need a please explain
Exactly. Minor microscopic touch of Spargo makes no difference. Murray punches it to the boundary line.

Fair call Nev and agree the delivery needs improvement but you cannot always expect silver service. Competitive marking is required on occasion.

Umps got it wrong - need a please explain
Couldn’t agree more. The Lever OOB was an absolute joke Yes the Keays holding the ball was a huge miss. He tried to burst away , took 6 paces and gets caught by Petty. Incorrect disposal. I think Dunstall was actually laughing at how inconsistent the umps were. It just makes me angry.

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
Could be 4 changes 1 Most likely Salem in. Jetta out. (presume Salem is fit) 2 Probably Sparrow in. Melksham out. (Melksham fitness would be 50/50) 3 Possibly Weid out. BBrown in (depending on performance in todays Casey game) 4 Fitness query - Viney (Potentially for Jordon) on the watchlist Fritsch Spargo

CASEY: Rd 06 vs Sydney
Brown would probably have to kick 5-6 goals at least to get the recall. He was brought in to provide the finish to our midfield dominance. Thought Weid was really disappointing and didn’t show enough to warrant another game unfortunately and has been given ample chances again.

Umps got it wrong - need a please explain
Just like when the Lions had a bad decision against the Cats, the Dees must ask for a “Please explain from the umpiring director “. Example, Murray from the Crows handballs 20 metres backwards out of bounds OOB in the last 20 seconds to go. Right next to the point post in our forward line. Not another crows player near it. My kids and I were absolutely screaming. It was the most obvious OOB all year. WTF. That’s what the rule was for. It wasn’t why we lost. You can diagnose many small incidents and the players must all be accountable. But the umps must be questioned. There were plenty of 50/50 decisions and we got (f&$@d) on most of them.

Agree. Mark it in the diary.

NON MFC: Rd 10 2021
Dogs are ruthless and hungry. Just want to be THE BEST. 3-Bont 2-Macrae 1- Dale. BONT clearly the best in the league. Oliver v Bont will be amazing. Trac could be our midfielder to kick 3-4 goals a week but doesn’t seem to have the absolute hunger it’s their pace that will worry us, kicking efficiency and run for 2nd and 3rd efforts WE MUST WIN THE CLEARANCES

List needs
Had a chance last year when Alex Witherden was available. In my opinion Eagles got him for a 3rd round pick which was an absolute bargain. He was squeezed out of Brisbane but is a highly skilled small defender. Kicks it 9/10 times and finds targets. Also dependable man on man.

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
Sparrow for Melksham Salem for Jetta Weid has the show he wants to be our key forward. It’s not happening right now

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
Agree. RUTHLESS?? Hardly. Just went through the motions v Swans and v Blues. Had reasonable wins but should have won each by 4-5 more goals. Tailed off and again tonight.

Crows have scored 7 goals from turnovers!! That was the old Melbourne. We are better than that now. Cmon Demons!!

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
Ditto. It’s the big call out by Goody at half time. Two way running needed.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
Agree. It’s a joke.

CASEY: Rd 06 vs Sydney
Just interested in seeing how he goes. Your vitriol towards fellow Demon supporters is unbelievably tiresome. Do you really enjoy it? Obviously you’re still on the mods watch list.

CASEY: Rd 06 vs Sydney
Actually interested in seeing Matt Ling from the Swans in this match as well. Former top 15 pick a few years ago. Injured over 2018-19 but apparently back in good form. He is a fast skilled left footer who plays half back- wing. Swans have a few similar types so Dees might reach out at year end for a chat.

AFL Mid Season Draft 2021
Schloithe is an absolute star of the WAFL. Spent time in Freo list but they have a strong midfield through 2014-16 and missed his chance. At 28, he’d be an immediate run on type but realistically only cover for our midfield. We already have a few like Sparrow as depth. I’d prefer a young quick outside runner with skills like Will Bravo.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KYSAIAH KROPINYERI PICKETT
Great article from Peter Ryan. I think it’s now official. The Kozzy fan club is officially FULL. It’s in fact over subscribed. There is a long waiting list to join.

AFL need to look into Rhys Mathieson!
Serial pest. Throws back his head as soon as he is tackled. Grub.
