  1. We waited 57 years for our premiership. A few extra weeks from Australia Post wonโ€™t hurt. MFC PREMIERS 2021 ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†
  2. DD36. We loved Trent Rivers selection in the 2019 draft. I think Mick Ablett was spot on in his thoughts. Definitely Trent has an excellent 2021, playing all 25 games and cemented his spot. His intensity, run, courage and skills are a great asset.
  3. Good call on Pies pick. It comes down to calculators and points per draft pick. This Dees pick also could be swapped with Saints. Our pick 37 and 57 for a Saints pick 62 and a future 2022 second round pick. Saints need points in this draft imv
  4. Yes Corey Warner would be a gift at this pick, which is likely to be 42-43 after father sons, zoning and NGAs selections. Other names : Isaac Birt. Sth Adelaide. Judson Clarke. Dandenong Stingrays. Early days with combine performance and results to possibly push some others up the draft boards
  5. Yes heโ€™s very impressive. His injury may see others cool on drafting him but heโ€™s clearly top 10 draft player so heโ€™d be a deadset steal. Unlikely but amazing if it happens.
  6. Hobbs is a gun. Clearly top 5 pick. Only slides to Tigers at pick 7 at absolutely worst case imv.
  7. Cats would win that trade. Heโ€™s not in their best 22 and seems to be out of favour or going backwards. Pick 22 to add, means cats get 4 picks between 22-34 and helps the cats big time.
  8. Yes I think these comments sum up his game very well. Heโ€™s still a late draft/rookie father-son option for me. Iโ€™d be pushing to trade out our pick 47 for a future 2022 third rounder and then draft Woey jnr.as our 3rd draft addition. He has shown the ability and we can afford time to develop him under the great Chocoโ€™s development program.
  9. No. Jackson is the successor to Max Gawn. Pick 17 is best available and there is plenty ahead of Conway. Itโ€™s a good chance to get some further midfield pace into the squad through Josh Sinn, Campbell Chesser, Josh Goater, Mitch Owens, Josh Rochele or Ned Long.
  10. Post of the day. Absolutely echoed what many are thinking.
  11. This just makes me angry. The guy should be investigated. Seriously !!
  12. Wake me up when itโ€™s over !!! Dees can watch the others wrestle over scraps Yes Cerra and Dawson are good players. The rest are packets of potato chips deals !!
  13. Very good player but injury prone costs $$$$$s we donโ€™t really have room on the list numbers we donโ€™t have trade picks or players as currency salary cap tight at MFC with younger stars needing extra $$ in future so itโ€™s a no
  14. Wow thatโ€™s great. Hopefully he enjoyed the win. My late father said he was an absolute champion. I remember in the 80s, Peter Mckenna was commentating and always referred to a ball kicked cleverly out of bounds that it was โ€œlike the great John Beckwithโ€.
  15. Definitely definitely. Heโ€™s a player. Absolutely in the mix. If he slips to our pick, then weโ€™d have to be very keen. I reckon heโ€™d be snapped up by either Brisbane or Richmond if he was available at their current round 1 number 14,15 picks Yes heโ€™s clearly one of the very best in this years pool.
  16. Iโ€™m still thinking we trade out the pick 49 to either Hawks or Eagles. The Hawks want to add a lot of youth this year and the Eagles have plenty of WA Kids in their sights from this 2021 batch. Suggestion. Dees trade out current 2021 pick 49 for a future 2022 third round from Hawks or Eagles. We can then use draft pick in the early 60s (currently 57) for Taj Woewodin as father son under a โ€œfree spinโ€ thought process.
  17. LEGEND !! what a true legend of our game and our club ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ† that was great. His excitement. His eyes lit up!! Ronald Dale Barassi meets an old friend. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
  18. Excellent write up. Agree on Roberts from SA. I have him around the pick 11-12 and definitely gone by our pick. Heโ€™s impressive and someone will get a very good player. I think heโ€™ll go to Sydney who would welcome him alongside their other excellent youngsters.
  19. Jack Williams looked good as a young developing Forward who had the height to also be a 2nd ruckman. Interesting to see whether we do invest in another young key forward. Iโ€™m still looking for pace and run and the best midfielder in pick 17 slot. But like JVR, Williams presents a good option for JT โญ๏ธ to consider.
  20. Sensational year. First half especially was very good. Composure Skill Toughness Hits targets ALL AUSTRALIAN SQUAD His finals campaign was excellent. His Grand Final was awesome. In the first half, he was our best player. Clearly a key part of the team. Simply his best year and so hope itโ€™s recognized in B&F. I think Demonlanders had him 3rd behind Trac and Clarry. PS. Tyson + Salem. V. Josh Kelly Iโ€™d say itโ€™s evens or we are now slightly ahead !!!
  21. Agree. I think 2022 will be key for Oscar. Last chance saloon. He has to improve his foot skills. Ok for distance but accuracy sometimes lets him down. Pace is good and I love his ability to back himself and run. Hoping VFL gets back next season and Oscar can show his talents. He is a current fringe player behind Langdon and Brayshaw.
  22. Pickett and Spargo. Then as depth in small forwards Chandler and Bedford already in the list. Bobby Hill? Itโ€™s a No
  23. Yes really looking to see Taj Woewodin today and other young sandgropers- Rhett Bazzo, Corey Warner, Arthur Jones and Jack Williams.
  24. ANB. Yes I thought trade was best option. Thought he was a good player but lacked the defensive side. Heโ€™s now got it. Heโ€™s been Reborn. TMCD. I was on the trade out option last year. Great recovery Spargo. Didnโ€™t think he added much and struggled to kick 35 metres. Definitely improved and his tackling and footy brain has been good. but also backed in โ€ฆ Jack Viney. Heโ€™s a true heart and soul player. Intense. Physical. Tackling is A grade every week. Canโ€™t ever believe others wanted him traded. Angus Brayshaw. Heโ€™s a smart footballer. Skilled on both left and right. Good endurance and pace. Loves the footy club. Trade to Freo? Ridiculous. James Harmes. Huge heart. Huge smile. Yes he had butchered the footy and done some frustrating things but heโ€™s one of the blokes you want in the trenches. Gives 100%. Can kick a goal. Cracks in. His kick to Fritsch was probably one of the bravest and most important of the year!! Tom Sparrow. Thought heโ€™d be a ripper right from the start. Reminds me of Todd Viney. Heโ€™s kicking is fantastic. Can cover distance and accuracy as we saw in the GF. Versatile half forward or on baller. Tough and passionate.
