  1. 6 Christian Petracca Fantastic game Strong and skilled (but 2 goal misses were disappointing) 6 Luke Jackson Wow he’s a star already … sign him up for 7 year deal 6 Jake Bowey undefeated premiership player… composed and skilled plus competitive… rising star All 3 were clearly the best for us. 3 Steven May - dependable all game , leader of the backline 2 Angus Brayshaw - used the footy well, brave and smart, ran and defended equally as anyone on the day 1 Clayton Oliver - gets the footy and super contested but difference to Trac is that Clarry often wastes it and needs his 2021 decision making back Honourable mentions : Joel Smith defensive efforts all night. ANB for his tackling and run but still misused the footy on occasions. You stink award: all 3 umps especially “34”.
  2. 1/2 time. Casey up by 6 goals. Brown is a standout. JVR will be a very very good player. Woey jnr moves well. Howes also. Good signs. Daw ok v Ryder. Dunstan and Bedford just seem to be poor decision makers. That’s what let’s them so far. Munro is Casey heart and soul player. Rips in. Weid is still too timid in my view. He needs to just demand it and crush anyone in his way to get it. Nice boy still.
  3. I think if Melksham has a good game, he might replace Sparrow. Tommy hasn’t had the best two weeks and I think Melksham across half forward still offers good goal scoring power. Dunstan is the other key player who’s probably going to get a chance at promotion.
  4. I thought Brock Smith (delisted by Lions) was a good option for Casey this year and one still to watch. Not sure where he is playing in 2022. Was a strong rebound defender in 2019 drafted at pick 33 by Lions (captained Gippsland Power in 2019) . Showed some good parts in NEAFL comp but obviously not enough to remain on the list.
  5. 16 AFL listed. Casey’s defence obviously looks weak with us missing 4 premiership defenders in the AFL !!! Loss of Hutchins also reduces their key defender stocks. Strange they didn’t look to bring in another key defender from the suburban leagues over the summer.
  6. Who’s missing round 2? Sslem, Lever, Petty , Hibbo (all premiership players) and young Turner.
  7. Absolute gold !!!
  8. I think these added blokes like Lonie and Zaharakis are AFL Covid impact cover as opposed to being Casey recruits for 2022. Casey in 2022 will be AFL listed plus guys like Munro, Buntine, Freeman, White, Etc.
  9. Yes not sure. It was only a practice match anyway.
  10. Agreed. Love the fact we have gun defence then pretty good backup coverage. Want to see Hibbo, Riv, Lever and Salem back (Petty to miss 2022) but ok to cover in short term.
  11. Lots to like. But still very green and can only get better. Love to see him and Kozzzzy together.
  12. Great news. I feel Sparrow is ready to have a break out game and kick 3-4 goals this year and 20+ possessions. Lots of improvement ahead.
  13. Beveridge. Embarrassing. Disappointing. Needs anger management. He bullied and belittled, then reckons he’s worried about mental health. Needs a big fine and an apology to Tom Morris. He even was cranky about the Sherrin and the McDonald’s sponsorship. They pay into the AFL and his club gets financing assistance from the AFL. WHAT A JERK.
  14. Christian Salem. Any early news? One of our keys. Really hope it’s not too serious.
  15. 6 Petracca 5 Langdon 4 Oliver 3 Brayshaw 2 Brown 1 Hunt ANB unlucky - but missing that goal from 10 metre out all alone in front was a shocker
  16. Bulldogs and ump scum beat us last year. WTF FREES 12-4? Not even touched him weightman!!?!?!
  17. Agreed. Let him be under the radar. Certainly was a key player all through 2021 and especially on GF Day. Salem is a star.
  18. Very excited. 9 marks and 3 goals v Dockers. TAYLA is loving her footy and key part of Dees premiership chances 🤞
  19. Might rest Zanker and bring in Jackie Parry
  20. The whole team was Fantastic hard to pick just 5 … but here goes 5 DAISY Pearce. A champion. A legend. 5 goals. 4 TYLA Hanks. She’s only 5”2’ but so strong and wins the footy in so many contests. Becoming a star. 3 ELIZA west - still a rookie player but settled in amazingly and getting better. Moved from basketball to footy and just knows where to go to eat the footy. So exciting to see how good she can be. 2 TAYLA Harris. What a year. Taken her game to new highs. A real target. 9 marks. 1 Lil Mithen. Love her energy. Smart and tough. Gets the footy and uses it. so many apologies to others who played a great game Go Dees
  21. No no no. So terribly sad. It’s a big shock. Shane Warne. What a cricketer. Legend. One of our greatest ever. 708 test wickets. His hat trick at the G was incredible. His first ball v Poms in England. Ball if the century. His ‘99 World Cup semi final v SthAfrica. We were gone. SK WARNE 4/29. Springboks were 0/50 odd chasing 210 and were in top. Suddenly Warne gets 3 wickets in 3-4 overs. It was such an amazing game and Warnie was heroic At absolute larrikin at times. Lover of baked beans. Liz Hurley !! Great storyteller and if half true, it was an incredible life 🍺RIP SKW!!
  22. Agreed. Rivers has both the ability to lockdown but also rebound. Big loss. But hopefully Hunt can step in and find his 2021 form with good run and carry. Unfortunately we won’t have the same 22 for ‘22 round 1 as we had for the premiership winning 2021.
  23. I’m surprised that all 18 AFL clubs don’t look to offer her a role or at least the 10 clubs in Vic. Daisy has excellent insights and strategies that would offer a lot as an assistant role. She’s mature and understands how tough footy is and the dedication needed. If she goes, Daisy will be always welcomed back. A Melbourne FC great imv.
  24. Excited. Wow another excellent game v Kangas. Definitely a potential mark of the year moment. And keeps kicking important goals. 😀😀
  25. 5 Paxman 4 Birch 3 Harris 2 Hesth 1 Mithen
